Product Review: MAC Villain Collection

 

As of September 30, the MAC Venomous Villains collection is in and available here (as well as in stores that carry MAC)! Check out my OG post about it here in case you missed it. You can bet your bottom I high-tailed it to the mall on my lunch break to check it out in person. Unfortunately, the mall closest to my work was sold out of just about everything, but I was able to hold a lipglass at a store closer to home.

Out of the entire collection, I decided on the Evil Queens' Lipglass in Hot House. A "wicked" shade of "deep raspberry with pink pearl". I have nothing like this in my collection (check it out here) and thought it'd be a nice color for the fall and winter season.

I really love the shade, but feel funny wearing such a bright color on my lips since I usually go for a pink/nude color. I like it though and have tried to wear it often so I can get used to seeing myself with bright lips. In honesty, I kind of feel like a pageant queen in this shade. I always love bright lips on other gals, so if they can rock it so can I!

So what do you think of the color? Yay or nay on me?
