Is this really appropriate?

I love Gossip Girl and Taylor Momsen (hello, how adorable was she in the Grinch???), but this is her outfit for hte sixteenth birthday. SIXTEEN!!

On a side note, I love Kim Kardashian's makeup in this picture (but I still want her to fall off a cliff)

Have You Ever Been to the Horse Races?

It is so exciting! You can spend the whole night there without spending your whole pay check either. They even have $1 hot dogs and beers!! I placed small bets ($1 and $3) on every horse and chose my horses mostly based on whether I like their names, if their name was special to me in some way, and how fast the horse in the races are. This is a great idea for a date or group outing, everyone is yelling for the horses and seeing who is winning and betting on, plus there are people of all ages there. My grandpa used to go all the time with some of my family members and I remember him taking me once when I was little- one of my favorite memories of him.
Here is a pic of me and my winning ticket, I bet on one horse to win and it did! (It was also my 3rd winning bet of the night)

Please call me when you turn 18, I will be HAPPY to be your Mrs. Robinson

Taylor Lautner is soooo sexy, I'm counting the days until his 18th birthday.
He's also InStyle's Man of Fashion for their December issue, thank goodness I'm a subscriber!
You can check out some sexy pics and learn 5 fun facts about him at their What's Hot Right Now!

I'm Team Jacob for the following reasons:
1. He's smoooking HOT
2. I'm a sucker for younger men
3. His baby face
4. His hunky body
5. Not that I know him personally, but in every interview I've read/seen of him, he seems really down to Earth and that boy next door you oggle when he's washes his car shirtless
6. In the fictional world of vampires and werewolves, Jake will die some day, will age alongside Bella (she does have like 15 yrs to catch up to him once he's transformed), he can take her on sunny vacations, and he's super hot.

I'm on Glamour's Website!!

Everytime I go to Nordstrom I have to check out the MAC counter. It's an addiction.
I have 100s of eyeshadows, lipsticks, lipglosses, etc. and in no means need to add to my collection, but all the shimmering colors are too tantalizing to just pass up without a quick swipe on my hand or a little drool.

Right now MAC has free shipping on any online orders from 07/20-07/24 and there's no shipping code needed! Or you can upgrade for 2nd day shipping for only $5! What a sweet deal!

They also have the most awesome products out right now and it would be a sin to not share them with you.

First is their Mineralize Eye Shadow Quad from their Colour Craft Collection for $19.50.
The colors are great and they come in 6 different ones, my favorites are Assemblage (that I couldn't help purchasing) which is a Silver White/Deep Gray/ YellowGold/Black with Silver Glitter and Natural Flare which is a Copper/ Yellow orange/ Rich gold/ Dirty brown. The best part is that instead of toting 4 different eye shadows with you, its all right here ready to go!

Another one of my favorites out right now is their Dazzle Glass Lip Gloss for $18.00. It's the most amazing lip gloss I've ever had, it's almost life changing. It's really shiny, but it has little specks of glitter that are absolutely stunning. I bought one a long time ago and it was a seasonal color so I have waited forever for them to come back out.
I love Sugarrimmer, Local Colour, and Like Venus best because they are a great neutral with just a hint of color. I think they look great alone, but also look good on top of lipstick or colored lip gloss.

The New Shaved Head Trend

It first started with Cassie:

Now Rihanna

Although these ladies can pull it off (as well as any female can pull off a half shaved head anyways, plus they're famous so that gives them some kudos), I don't think I'll be jumping on this bandwagon any time soon.

Gimme Head with Hair Long Beautiful Hair

I love wearing my hair different ways; long, short, curly, straight, purple. Yes, purple. They were extensions though so now worries.
Here's some hair styles I've worn, stolen, or want to try:

Oh, and there's the "beach waves" I love but cannot for the life of me get right and now I'm just too bitter to post pictures of them. Yes, I know LC is in 2 pics and yes I still wish she would jump off a cliff, but the girl has great hair. *please ignore printer in the back of the last picture

Work Ethics

Every morning, I get up and look through the "Forbes" list of the richest people in America. If I'm not there, i go to work" - Robert Orben

Ain't that the truth!

I finally bought a new car! It’s a miracle. It’s beautiful, has AC, a 6 CD player WITH AUX and MP3!!!
AND a moon roof!! It’s incredible.
Here’s some pics:

*special thanks to my BF & his family

Here’s the beast I used to drive:

Some of it’s features include:
No AC, no AUX, no heater either. It also guzzles gas and makes very loud noises. The beast also randomly dies, at convenient times such as an overpass of a busy freeway.
My past cars have been worse (if you could imagine). I’ve had cars that I would have to HOT WIRE to start- literally opening the hood and sparking to wires together. I’ve never had a car with a working AC/heater, cars that I would have to “bump” to open the hood/gas cap, no radio, my rear view mirror would fall off on hot days, and every button is broken. Sometimes the passenger window (which didn’t work) would randomly cave in, one time in the pouring rain a large semi-truck passed and threw water all over the inside of my vehicle, including the hanging clothes I had in the back. AWESOME.

Needless to say, this has been a long time coming. Yay me and everyone who rides in it!

Love this Lady's Look!

Did any of you catch Late Night with David Letterman? I didn't either, way past my bed time. I wish I had though! Check out how hot Hayden Panettiere is:

Yes, it's a little risque, but it does cover the necessities. I think it's so sexy and her hair looks fabulous and her shoes are KILLER!

Most Entertaining Lunch EVER

My co-worker S. and I have planned on going to lunch together for a while. We like to try new places and we're both on a budget, so we make great lunch buddies. Plus he finishes everything I don't eat. Everyday on our way home from work we pass a nice establishment called The Show at Papa Joe's that advertises any big sporting events or big deals. They have a new $5 lunch special Monday- Friday.

Awesome! S. and I are going!!!

Here is what an overview about the restaurant I found online:
Welcome to The Show At Papa Joe's! We specialize in delicious and reasonably priced cuisine, including our house specialties and other customer favorites. Our cuisine entrees are served in a relaxed and welcoming setting that you and your friends and family are sure to enjoy. Whether you are inthe mood to indulge in something new or just want to enjoy some oldfavorites, we promise that our inventive menu and attentive service willleave you truly satisfied. No matter what your occasion calls for or yourappetite demands, the friendly staff at The Show At Papa Joe's promise to makeyour next dining experience a pleasant one.

No problem here! Sounds like a great place for lunch right????
We walk in, and it's all dark. The fans have spots for 3 lightbulbs and there's only 1 lightbulb in each....a red lightbulb.

No worries, $5 for lunch, I will make it work.

We walk in further....there's a stripper pole. And a dancer on it.

Whatever, I've worked for Budweiser, this place has nothing on the places I've been to.
The lunch includes a burger, fries, and a BEER!!! $5 even too, including tax!!

Overall , the lunch is legit. It's a great burger and pretty cheap!!
S. and I couldn't stop laughing that we were eating at an "entertainment" bar though.

Coming up in the world....

After a horrible week of work (how can it be, it's a short week after all... and the boss left for a 2 week vacation!), I thought today would never end. Today was supposed to be an easy day; no boss, no crazy co-worker, and my Friday, however, everyone decided to call our office, need certificates, and complain today. Then the best thing since sliced bread came......

Since everyone was out of the office or left to start their weekend early, my co-worker S. and I are now devouring our own pies like fatties. I have apple and he has chocolate pudding. No we didn't slice them and eat them like respectable and well-mannered people, we're eating them from the center first with a fork. We're also taking them home and not sharing. Yay us.

ps we ate them on the way home too, with our hands. keepin classy.
