Who Wore It Best? Round 3

Forgive me, but I do not know this woman's name and I've searched and searched. I can find her picture, but not her name, so if you know it, please let me know! Anyways, here is this gorgeous gal at the New Moon premiere in LA. Now, her dress is completely different than mine, but it's the same fabric. I like the shoulders on hers, it gives it even more of an animal feel (if that's even possible).

Please note, that I do these "contests" as just a joke, but want to show how you can copy any one's outfit or find something in your closet that's inspired by something they've worn. I keep an inspiration board at home (I'll do a future post about it) that I can look at when I don't know what I feel like wearing, how to do my hair or makeup, etc. I categorize it in categories and even have a "To Buy" section so when I go shopping, I don't just buy whatever, but look for certain pieces that will add to my wardrobe that I can wear over and over again.

If You Don't Want To Wear Pants, Do It In Style

like Blake Lively!! Doesn't she look great? I'm seriously loving this dress she wore to the Sherlock Holmes premiere! Her hair is so curly and bouncy, her legs look amazing in those gold Louboutin heels, and her jade ring is gorgeous. Her nude nails are perfect as well, a color would have been too much. I seriously can't stop staring at this picture, she looks divine.

I love Rachel McAdam's hair & makeup, but I am not feeling her jumper so much, the top is beautiful but I would have chosen a sexy short dress for her instead. Something similar to what Nicole Kidman wore at the Nine premiere.

Ashley Greene looks great to in another winter white frock with nude shoes and great lip color.

Help! More Wedding Hair!

My good friend K is getting married this weekend, and I'm so excited for her and the wedding. It's going to be so much fun and it's at this wonderful venue. It's going to be absolutely gorgeous and the ceremony is outside while the reception is inside. I'm going to wear a royal blue strapless dress with silver earrings/clutch/shoes and a dark gray coat. , but I don't know how to wear my hair! I don't want a disaster like this one- I loved the back, but the front was not my style. Here is what I'm thinking:

My hair is at the top of my chest, so it's a little shorter than Nicole's.

I could do the front like Jennifer's with a cute chignon bun in the back.

Half up/down with a lot of height.

Or my usual curls.

Lastly, I could do just stick straight with lots of shine.


What do you ladies think? I really wish I had extensions that matched my current color, but I'm going a couple shades lighter in a few weeks and would rather buy them to match the lighter shade. I'm really digging all the make up looks here too. Thick liner on the top is so glam.

Doesn't she look fab? I think she might be my new girl crush! I love her hair, clothes, and her makeup. She always looks so fresh and her skin is beautiful. Her casual outfit in the yellow dress I'm gonna have to recreate for myself!

I'm so Proud to be from Utah

Seriously, I really am. Didn't you read my past post? In Utah, over in Lehi at Thanksgiving Point, they have the state's largest corn field. Every year a theme is picked and a maze is cut out in the field to represent theme, last year was David Archuleta, another year was 9-11. It's a lot of fun to go and I went nearly every year when I lived there.
This year's theme is New Moon!! They have cut both Team Jacob (my fave) and Team Edward into the corn. The maze opens September 24 and runs thru Halloween. If you happen to be in town those days, I definitely suggest stopping by. Maybe I can go home for a weekend soon and check it out myself. Oh how I would love to get lost there. For Vampire Lovers Everywhere

Two of the most popular shows right now (True Blood and Twilight Sagas in case you live under a rock) have really neat paraphernalia available!

I just caught up with the season last night and can't wait to see more of Godric and what will happen with MaryAnn. I've also decided the following:

1. This season is WAY better than last season, it has more of a storyline and is not just borderline porn.
2. Jason and Terry are still my favorite characters
3. Sarah Newlin looks like a cheerleader and I'm obsessed with her hair
4. Don't watch the show right before bed because you will have the most weird dreams ever
