My Last Bumpdate: Week 38

 photo F7EACCD7-123A-4C0D-A542-621E34FAD3B1-15271-000006BBB7BBE647_zps9504da99.jpg

This is my last bumpdate as we are scheduled for our c-section next week. Crazy huh? I can't believe how quickly it's gone by and I'm so excited to finally meet her, love on her, and see what she looks like. Our lives will never, ever be the same, they'll be better! I know I'm going to miss feeling her from the inside and miss being pregnant though.

Tomorrow is my last day of work and this weekend is packed with a wedding and birthdays, but the hubs and I are going to savor every moment we have of our last weekend as a family of two.   I have so many emotions, the last week has been kind of a roller coaster; excitement, worry, anxiousness, exhilaration, and joyfulness. There's so much I want to write here, but I can't get the words right and hope to share more with you in a future post.

I love seeing her heartbeat at our appointments

How far along?  37 Weeks! (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous)

Total weight gain: I had an appointment on Monday and have gained a total of 26lbs. I'm thinking I'll be around 27-28 at the time of delivery. The doctor also guesstimates that our bunny weighs between 7.5-8.5lbs and our families have started placing bets.

Stretch marks?: Besides Stretch Mark Gate (read about it here  in Week 28) I haven't had any more pop up and the few I have on the underside of my chest have not grown or gotten worse.  I've started using Body Spa Cell.U.Lift Firming Body Lotion every morning after my shower and starting using the  Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter each night before bed (when I remember). I'm hoping to steer clear of any stretch marks at all in this last week, wish me luck!

Maternity clothes: Randomly, I've made some cute outfits of the few items that still fit me! Of course, I'm still wearing my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and have made some really cute looks this past week. Although all I want to wear is some pj shorts and my husbands shirts.

Belly Button in or out?: Depends on my position, but it's out. Sometimes it's just flat and other times it bubbles out.

Sleep: Sleep? What sleep? I wake up a few times during the night and my hip pain is at it's worst!

 photo 64CAA8E9-CBA9-4166-A53F-3E8CABA89FC4-15271-000006BBC86D3B05_zpsada7bf68.jpg
I spent one of the morning this past weekend folding all her clothes. They are so small, it's crazy how much you can fit in a load of laundry and in a single drawer!

Best moment this week: Finishing the nursery! My MIL and SIL came over last weekend and we organized, washed, and bought everything we needed. We are all set and I'll be taking some pictures this weekend to share next week.

Also this week, the sweet women in our Relief Society threw me a shower and it was lovely. It was so great getting know them better (we just moved into the ward) and I really enjoyed myself. It was such a wonderful shower, I'm so thankful to them.

Worst moment this week: This week I have been so uncomfortable, my last day of work is tomorrow and I wish I could have taken off this whole week. I'm out of breath, my hands/feet are swollen, my hips hurt, and I'm tired. No fun.

 photo 5d5e651ac1c411e2976e22000a1fbc8d_7_zpse68717ec.jpg
I got my hair done this week as well, want to look good to meet baby! Plus, who knows when I'll have a chance to get my hair done again!

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything? Sleeping throughout the night which will not happen again for years.

Movement: Still lots of movement! I'm definitely going to miss the feeling when she's here.

Food cravings: Milk, cereal, fruit, and smoothies.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.

Have you started to show yet: Absolutely!

Gender: Team pink!

 photo 9f78f5d2c29b11e2808622000a1f9aaf_7_zps7b0d552a.jpg
My MIL and I on our way to the church shower, we matched!

Symptoms:Like what I said above, my hip pain is horrible and hurts so bad in the mornings, my hands/feet are swollen, my hands ache, I'm tired and uncomfortable, and I'm definitely waddling early in the morning and at the end of the day.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, happy, happy!

What I'm reading: This week has been so busy, but I did manage to sneak in another chapter of Breastfeeding Made Simple- a suggestion from Meg of Meg. O on the Go.

Looking forward to: Finally meeting our little bunny!

I'm trying to work on some posts for next week, but I'm sure my posts will be scattered over the next couple of weeks as we get into the swing of parenthood and get to know our little bunny. Again, I just want to thank each of you for all your love and support throughout the whole pregnancy. It's been so wonderful getting know you guys and sharing pregnancies stories and words of advice. It's been a truly amazing experience and I'm so grateful for each of you!

Bumpdate Week 37

 photo D162D047-1A53-44C9-8975-99AAB0AA4902-1441-00000087EC0FC3CC_zps883e9c7b.jpg
36 Weeks 2 Days
Target Basic Tank/Maternity Shorts from Ross/Groopdealz Bubble Necklace

It's insane that we'll be parents so quickly, I've made a ridiculously long list of everything I need to still do to be "ready" for her arrival. Things such as pack the diaper bags, organize our changing table/dresser, launder her sheets/boppy cover/blankets/changing table cover/a few outfits, etc. Then buy the remaining items I still need to get like a nursing cover, diaper pail refills, more butt cream for baby, etc.

My MIL and SIL are going to come over tonight while our men are on a fishing trip to help settle everything in place. I'm so happy to have such supportive family members on each side of our family that we can rely on and reach out to for help.

We also had our 36 week appointment on Wednesday and we are definitely having a c-section, we scheduled it for the last week of May. I'm kind of relieved to be honest. I knew she wouldn't flip, there's just not enough room for her in there! I'm happy to know we have a plan and we're not still waiting to see if she'll flip. I knew in my gut we'd end up w the c/s because she's been Frank Breech for so long and hasn't flipped whatsoever since we found out her position. I didn't have much hope she'd turn since she wasn't changing position week to week like other mother's experiences I've heard.

Over the last few weeks, after doing my research and talking to so many of you, I just came to terms with having a c/s, not experiencing labor, and having a May baby. If you've been following my bumpdates, you'll know I was equally afraid of both labor/delivery and c/s for different reasons. I've focused on all the positives of having a c/s such as knowing when she'll be here instead of pacing the floor playing the waiting game, she'll have a perfectly shaped head, and my hair/makeup will be looking great for the photos! LOL. I know, but it's still part of the silver lining right?  This pregnancy was planned and we really wanted a June baby, and although I'm happy to have a child at any time during the year, I really wanted a June baby. Our families have so much going on in May that's all back to back, I wanted our little bunny to have some time all to herself. Oh well, can't plan it all right?

I really want to thank you all again for all the love and support, the comments, emails, and words of inspiration and comfort have meant so much to me. They really have turned my worries and fears around- I'm so grateful!

How far along?  36 Weeks! (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous)

Total weight gain: 23 lbs! I've gained another 2lbs since my last appointment. My doctor said I'll be the woman who gains it all at the end and he was right!

Stretch marks?: Besides Stretch Mark Gate (read about it here  in Week 28) I haven't had any more pop up and the few I have on the underside of my chest are almost gone thanks to using Body Spa Cell.U.Lift Firming Body Lotion every morning after my shower. Now that I'm so close to the end, I really hope I don't get any on my belly- knock on wood! I'm still using the  Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter each night before bed (when I remember). Did you ladies still use belly butter after delivery? I figure I'll still use it as my body goes back to shape, but wondered if that's what was common.

Maternity clothes: This past week I've been able to re-work my 6 rotated outfits to look new with accessories, but I still hate getting dressed. Nothing fits rights, I'm hot all the time, and just want to wear "yoga" (it's in "" because they've never been to yoga) pants and a tank everyday, but that doesn't quite cut it for "business casual" at my work. I'm still wearing my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and two pairs of shorts on the weekends. Plus all my maxi dresses of course.

Belly Button in or out?: Out! It's finally popped all the way out and shows in everything I wear, but I wouldn't count it really as an "outie" because it's still pretty flat. It feels so funny when it's rubbed too. I've also noticed that it's often tender, which makes sense since it's stretched so thin.

Sleep:Oh my word. Worst week of sleep yet! Last Thursday, I woke up 7 times! I had to use the restroom, I had heartburn, I woke up in a sweat from being so hot (while the hubs was shivering), and my hips hurt. It's been a pattern this past week that varies how many times I've had to get up from 1-6 times, but it has been no fun!

Best moment this week: Monday-Wednesday, the hubs and I took a little vacation to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and have some time alone before the baby comes. It was so relaxing! We tried to find some activities to do while pregnant, but it's pretty slim. Some of the ideas I had that were out was paddle boarding and whale watching, but seeing how I don't want to fall in the water and my agility is off the first option was out and I get crazy nauseous on a boat so the second option was also out. Instead, we ate, napped, got a pedicure, went to the beach, and walked around the downtown area. It was wonderful!

Worst moment this week: Sleeping sucks.

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything? Wearing my regular clothes, sleeping without needing an ice bath, and not having Fred Flintstone ankles/feet.

Movement: She still moves a ton! On Saturday she was sticking her foot/hand out so far I felt like I could pinch it! It was crazy.

Food cravings: Water, juice, grapes.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.

Have you started to show yet: Absolutely!

Gender: Team pink!

Symptoms:As you read above; no sleep, hip pain, heartburn, swelling, and panic mode now that we have a date when she will be here.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but hot.

What I'm reading: On our trip I started to read Breastfeeding Made Simple- a suggestion from Meg of Meg. O on the Go, so far I really like it. Lots of good information!

Looking forward to: Seeing our little girl, getting the home and maternity leave organized, and getting my hair done next week!

Bumpdate Week 36

 photo D1EF3040-01C0-46F1-BBCD-E543B72F4511-1876-000000F7D57943B8_zpsa43ec711.jpg
Only 5 weeks until I'm done! Even though if I have the C-section it will really only be 3 weeks!

How far along?  35 weeks! (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous) Matt and I keep repeating over and over again how at the end of the month we'll be parents! It's so exciting, scary, thrilling, and a million other words.

Total weight gain: 21lbs and I have an appointment next Wednesday so I'll know if I've gained anymore. Right now I would estimate another 3 lbs.

The Body Spa Cell.U.Lift is a miracle worker!! I swear by it 100% and will definitely be doing a review in the next few weeks.

Maternity clothes:Each week I have less clothing to wear. There's some tops that still fit, but I don't want to wear them in fear of stretching them too much and not be able to wear them afterwards. My clothes are on repeat, all four outfits. LOL.

I'm still wearing my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  I love these pants, they're all I wear and I'm so happy I bought multiple pairs!

Belly Button in or out?: Half and half right now, the top has been out for a while but I had a huge growth spurt Thursday night and my belly button is halfway out now. It looks so weird! I don’t think it will be out that far, but you never know.
 photo 111214702_400x400_zps32a3b9c4.jpg
My new best friend at night

Sleep: Blech. Some nights are good and others are the worst. I had acid reflux for the first time last week and woke up after a few hours of sleeping nearly throwing up. Gross right? If I only shared what I was dreaming about when it happened, it was hilarious timing. I've had it one other night from the first night, but it just kept coming back. I think she's just so high up I feel like she's forcing everything back up instead of down.

Best moment this week:My in-laws threw me the cutest shower! It was so much fun and I loved all the details and seeing everyone who came and celebrated. I'll be doing a post next week with all the details! I can't wait to share it with you guys! I'm so blessed to have such an amazing family and friends and to be able to celebrate our little bunny twice!

Worst moment this week: The acid reflux. Sucks! I know there's an old wive's tale about heartburn and hair, but I'm planning on our baby being bald. I didn't have any hair for years, but if she's born with some curls I'll love it!

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

 photo 27EA9B7D-50AE-41F9-BB4A-EA406699D705-1876-000000F7DFB55369_zpsb31b3edd.jpg
The headbands I ordered from Groopdealz came in! So cute!

Miss Anything? Sleeping through the night, especially knowing that I'll never have a full night's sleep again.

Movement: Still tons of movement! She loves to dance and groove at night, my belly looks like an ocean.

Food cravings: Flavored water, I've been putting sliced strawberries in my water almost everyday and it's delicious! Plus, water + strawberries + lemon = strawberry lemonade without all the calories. Yummy!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.

Have you started to show yet: Absolutely!

Gender: Team pink!

This is from a Daddy blog Message with a Bottle and this post-it totally cracked me up, so true!

Symptoms: Swollen feet/hands, acid reflux, hip pain, and leg cramps. No big deal right?

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Although I do feel like an arthritic grandma most days.

What I'm reading: I'm still reading The Happiest Baby on the Block and I also picked up Breastfeeding Made Simple- a suggestion from Meg of Meg. O on the Go

Looking forward to: Our appointment to see our little girl and a babymoon/anniversary vacation next week!

Bumpdate Week 35

 photo 9DFB4000-59C2-4FCA-9B58-2C1563AEC392-9290-00000431003F1934_zps95cb524c.jpg

On Monday, we had my 24 week appointment and baby is really healthy. We saw a bit more of her face which was fun. My husband and I have decided not to get any 4D Ultrasounds because we want to see her for the first time when she's born. I know that not all babies look the same as their ultrasounds, but I know too many that looked nearly identical and I want it to be a surprise. I'm really shocked about that with myself too because I read the Wikipedia for every book and movie I watch- it never bothers me to know the storyline or ending.

Little bunny is still Frank Breech, but our doctor said there's always hope though! I've continued to do my exercises to help turn her, but she doesn't even squirm anymore when I do them. I'm hoping she flips so I can have a regular birth, but I'm not holding my breath. My next appointment is in two weeks and then I have an appointment the following week to determine if we need the c-section or not. I've been hoping to wait until June 1 at least for her to arrive, but I don't want to go into labor on my own and not have my doctor so she may be here around May 30th. We'll see I guess!

Oh and my maternity pics will be posted next week! So excited to share them!

How far along?  34 weeks! (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous) Again, I know I say this nearly every week, but it's insane to me how fast the time has flown by. It's nuts to me that in less than a month my husband and I will be parents. We will be responsible to care, love, and teach another human being. Our lives will never ever be the same and everything we do will involve 3 of us instead of only the 2 of us.

Total weight gain: 21 lbs!! That's 5.5lbs more than my 32 week appointment. I don't feel like I have gained that much in just two weeks time, but I'm happy with my weight gain. Also, most of my appointments are first thing in the morning, and this one was right after I had lunch so I'm not sure if the 5.5 lbs is exactly accurate, but I'll take every pound I can get!

The Body Spa Cell.U.Lift is something every woman needs, pregnant or not. The stretch marks started to fading after only a week of use and I will do a review after I've documented some more and used the product for a longer time period. Also, I'm over the shock/sadness of having stretch marks, I glad that they're disappearing with the Image Skincare products and will continue to use them, but how I felt the day I found them and how I feel now about them are entirely different.

 photo 069694DC-F7E2-415E-8E77-249722CC0E39-9290-0000043180D8B64D_zps90135e29.jpg
34 Weeks  0 Days

Maternity clothes: Like I said last week, getting dressed is no fun. I wear the same outfits all the time and I'm just sick of wearing them. My pregnancy uniform is my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and a few loose tops or a tank top, a cardi, and a statement necklace.

Belly Button in or out?: It's completely flat with the top ridged out. Sometimes it is more "out" than flat depending on the position I'm in.

Sleep: Sleep is getting better for me, this last week I've only woken up once a night to use the restroom and get something to drink. I'm still having hip pain and have started to also have knee pain as well. The leg cramps have come back as well, but are short and focused on just my calves instead of my calves with shooting pains all the way up my leg. With all the cramping I've had, I've noticed the balls of my feet have been really sore from all the tension and stretching. I guess with such an easy pregnancy so far, I was bound to be uncomfortable at the end of my term. I'm still not ready to be done, I enjoy being pregnant, I just wish the uncomfortableness would ease off.

34 Weeks 4 Days
Note to self: stop wearing stripes while large.

Best moment this week: I loved seeing our little one with the sonogram at our appointment. She is so cute and lively. We were able to see her face too and it looks like she has my lips! Matt and I always talk about who she'll look like and both sides of our family have pretty dominant genes so we figure we'll probably have a child that looks like him, one that looks like me, etc. Honestly, I hope all of our children look like a mix of us both! Even though I think Matt and his sisters look identical, they look like both of their parents! I love it and hope that our little girl takes suit.

We were able to hang almost everything for the nursery this weekend! It looks so good! I'm only waiting on a few more things to take pictures and share with you guys how it all looks. I go into the room everyday and just look around, it's my happy spot.

Also, my work celebrated both my birthday and the baby yesterday! It was so cute! My desk was all decorated, we played a game, had lunch and dessert. They even all went in together to get my diaper pail.  It was so sweet and such a surprise!

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

I picked this up at Target this past Saturday, I've been looking for a gown to wear at the hospital that would be modest enough to wear with guests and easy to wear while I breastfed. This gown is so soft and the v-neck is perfect for b/f, I did some tests when trying it on and I think it will work great!

Miss Anything? Sleeping without hip/knee pain, lying on my back, and reaching my toes to paint them or tie my shoes.

Movement: Still lots of movement, I have been able to film some of it and it looks like a wave in my belly. I messaged it to my sister and here's our conversation, it cracks me up:

 photo 8A0ACF07-D63E-4416-851C-493E1E4D2A5D-526-0000004BCAACE9B5_zpsfb5c6dfe.jpg
I re-read it all the time- I think it's so funny and I laugh like it's the first time, each time.

Food cravings: Water- I don't think I've ever drank so much water in all my life. I've been putting sliced strawberries and a lemon wedge in my water this week and it's been delicious!Vanilla ice cream, I had two McDonald's cones this week! I've always been a big cereal eater (I just love it for any time of day), but I've been going through a box a week by myself! My portions must be getting larger.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.

Have you started to show yet: Absolutely!

Gender: Team pink!

Symptoms: Swelling in my hands and feet, my fingers look like sausages in the above picture! My SIL said she had to do a double take since my hands look so big. They're huge! My fingers are typically very skinny, my wedding rings are 5 1/4. It's been really hot here in CA and the heat is just blowing them up!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but more emotional. I haven't cried 24/7 or anything, but I hold back tears at times or get choked up at sappy commercials, reading anything remotely heart warming, and thinking about the first time I get to hold our baby.

 photo download_zpsd5d6dbeb.jpg
I bought this chewable teething necklace from Little Miss Fairytale on a Groopdealz (in teal) and it came in this week. The texture seems great for a teething toddler, but I think it will get wrapped up in my hair. I'll definitely be sporting a pony tail while rocking the necklace. You can purchase it from her Etsy shop here.

What I'm reading: The Happiest Baby on the Block, I'm further into it, just reading a few pages every other night and really like it so far. I plan on also watching the DVD as so many of you suggested.

Looking forward to: My 2nd shower this weekend! I'm so excited for it!! It will be great to see everyone on my in-laws side and celebrate our little bunny with loved ones, especially so close to my due date!

Bumpdate Week 34

 photo 4f49500eac2d11e2adbf22000aaa04d4_7_zpsee523d11.jpg
First, I just want to thank all of you again so much for the positive response, support, and love from my Bumpdate Week 33 about Frank Breech babies and having C-sections!! It lifted my spirits so much and helped me feel more confident about the procedure and more educated about what happens during/after C-sections. The honesty and openness that you have shared with me about your personal experiences (and your friends/family experiences) have helped to settle my fears.  I can't say it enough how much I appreciate each of you, thank you for all your kindness and love.

I have several questions ready for my doctor on Monday (my next appointment) and I look forward to seeing what options are available to me. Of course, our bunny can turn at any time, but I'm not counting on it. The most important thing will be that she's here healthy and happy, not what way she's born.

How far along?  33 weeks! (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous)

Total weight gain: At my last appointment, I was 15.6lbs up and I think we could add another pound or so. I have an appointment on Monday so I'll have an update next week.

The Body Spa Cell.U.Lift is a miracle worker!! The stretch marks have already started to fade after only a week of use! I have pictures and will do a review in a bit after I've documented some more and used the product for a longer time period.

Maternity clothes: I hate getting dressed. I just want to wear pjs or my birthday suit everyday. I'm hot, uncomfortable, and a muumuu would be grand right now.I have some maxi dresses that are perfect for the weekends, but aren't work appropriate because they're strapless.

I'm still wearing my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and my Kiki La'Rue Jeggings (which aren't maternity, but fit below my belly).  They are the only bottoms I wear. My thighs/butt have gotten a size larger in the last month (I’m blaming the hip pain to a widening of my hips- I don’t care if that’s the truth or not) and some shorts I’ve been wearing unbuttoned no longer fit. Whatsoever.

Belly Button in or out?: Mostly out and flat, but it also depends on what position I’m in. It changes if I’m standing up or sitting down. It’s funny looking though and it feels funny to rub it. LOL.

Sleep: Sleep is better, I wake up once a night to use the restroom (there were two nights that I woke up twice) and I have started to sleep with a pillow wall around me. I have one on each side of me and it’s been so nice to turn from side to side without have to move one pillow or snoogle with me. Plus, I like the support and cushion the pillow provides on my back (like the snoogle does). I’ve also tucked the corner of a pillow under my belly for support as well which sometimes feels good and sometimes annoys me.

 photo 06a75b78ac7a11e2a15422000a9f19a4_7_zps46bc26f1.jpg
Matt and I had our Breastfeeding class on Tuesday night. There was a lot of information, but I found it to be pretty basic. I've done a lot of research so I didn't hear anything I hadn't already read or learned from breastfeeding friends. I'm still glad we took it though, but I wish there was a class offered with more information about pumping and storage. My insurance does offer a postpartum class for breastfeeding as well and I hope to learn more then once I'm in the thick of my breastfeeding.

Best moment this week: All of the support from everyone about C-sections and breech babies! It has been so wonderful having mothers talk to me about their own experience or their friend’s experience. It’s given me so much reassurance and has changed my fear and apprehension by leaps and bounds.

We also started our Lamaze classes which I enjoyed and look forward to finishing in the next few weeks. I know that if I have a C-section the Lamaze classes may be a waste, but I'd rather be prepared. Also, I think the breathing and relaxation techniques will help with any anxiety I have before and during the surgery.

Worst moment this week: Nothing, this week was great!

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything? Shopping for myself and wearing shorts.

Movement: So much so! She's a mover and a shaker, but hasn't turned from her Frank Breech position.

Food cravings: I’m back to smoothies! I’ve made a few this week, I also want vanilla ice cream (which I haven’t had any, but I keep talking about it and then I’m too full to actually have some), pineapple juice, and more water.I don't think I've ever been so thirsty.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.

Have you started to show yet: Absolutely!

Gender: Team pink!

Symptoms: It’s been really warm this past week and my fingers have swelled a little bit. I can still wear my wedding rings comfortably, but have chosen not to in fear that at some point I won’t be able to get them off. I hate not wearing them though and feel naked without them, plus I feel like I get more eyes that move from my belly to my bare ring finger. I know I can wear the rings on a chain, but I’m afraid of losing them that way. So I’ll rock a bare hand until our bunny arrives! Luckily, the swelling hasn't reached my ankles or feet, knock on wood.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, happy, happy!

What I'm reading: I finally started The Happiest Baby on the Block and it seems like a great read, I’ll let you know once I’ve finished it! I'm really excited to read it and look forward to putting the information to use.

Looking forward to: Hanging things in the nursery, we have a few things that need to be painted before they’re hung, but it has been too windy to spray paint them outside (my husband will be painting them because of the fumes). I also have my 2nd shower with my husband’s side of the family next weekend and I’m pumped for that!

Bumpdate Week 33

 photo h9991482_001_zpse07e7aa4.jpg
I had my 32 week appointment on Friday and our little girl is still Frank Breech! The above picture shows you the position she's in. I need to get her to turn her booty around or a C-section is in my future. With my last appointment, we found that she's in this position, but I wasn't too worried about it- I thought she would turn and we'd call it a day. Now that she's still in this position, I'm beginning to slightly freak out.

I'm not afraid of having a C-section, I trust my doctor fully and want what's best for our baby to be born healthy, but I'd rather have a vaginal birth than C-section. I also wrote that last sentence before I Googled C-sections and now I'm kind of nervous to have one. There's definitely pros and cons to both ways of delivery, but overall and most importantly I want to deliver a healthy baby.

On my Facebook page I asked mommies if they had any tips in getting their little ones to turn and was told about acupuncture (which my big sis said too), stretches, using tones in the direction we want the baby to move, and using a cold pack where the baby's head is so they turn away from it. I've been doing exercises everyday to help her turn and I've been praying about it. One night we were able to get her to turn horizontally using all of the above techniques, but she wouldn't turn any further and turned back breech about 20 minutes later. I can tell when she's in the breech position because of where her head is and the shape of my belly and when she turned it completely changed, but now she's definitely back in the Frank Breech positioning again.

I'm open to all suggestions so please comment below! Also, have you had a C-section? What was your experience?

 photo 04DDEA19-2D5F-4EEC-B03D-A87BAE5B3D86-22835-00000A555815E016_zpsf320ef22.jpg
Matt and I had a Baby Basics class on Tuesday. The class was really useful, we learned signs of illness, what to expect in the dirty diapers (with photos- yay), how to swaddle, bath, and take a temperature.

We start our Lamaze class tomorrow for the next month and I'm really looking forward to the class- although if I have a C-section these classes are unnecessary and my Dr advised I won't need to take them.

How far along?  32 weeks (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous)

Total weight gain: 15.6lbs! I knew my guess last week was right! I've finally start to gain some weight and my Dr is so happy, although he did mention it's STILL not enough, and we went over my diet again (which he said is fine and healthy).

The Body Spa Cell.U.Lift is amazing, it makes your skin all tingly and I love the minty scent. I've started putting it on some marks I have on my hips from a childhood growth spurt- I'll definitely do a review.

Maternity clothes: Same as the last few weeks, wearing my regular clothes, but each week my closet is growing smaller and smaller. I just don't want to buy any tops that I'll be wearing for less than 2 months. So yes, you'll see any pictures of me in the same outfits on repeat.

I'm still wearing my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and my Kiki La'Rue Jeggings (which aren't maternity, but fit below my belly).  I love these pants, they're all I wear at this point in the game.

This week I made some pearl bracelets for the baby. I couldn't find infant size anywhere and wanted one to bring her home in. I also made a larger one for my niece so we can start the matching outfits early!

Belly Button in or out?: Half and half right now, the top has been out for a while but I had a huge growth spurt Thursday night and my belly button is halfway out now. It looks so weird! I don’t think it will be out that far, but you never know.

Sleep: I'm waking up only once a night and there have been two nights I was able to sleep right through without waking. I'm still hot close to morning and my hips have some pain. On Monday I was just uncomfortable overall and felt like everything hurt when I awoke. I picked up some Tylenol but haven't had to use it yet.

Best moment this week: Seeing baby in the sonogram at our appointment and starting the baby classes! I can't wait to hold her. Her arrival is getting so close!!

Worst moment this week: The moment I decided it would be a good idea to Google C-sections.

The lace bloomers I ordered on Groopdealz forever ago finally came in! I can't wait to put her little rump in them, they're so frilly!

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything? Sleeping comfortably.

Movement: Tons! Her movements are so large and she moves so often I don't need to count her kicks (thankfully). Hopefully, she shimmy's her way to face head down.

I bought this cute makeup bag for the diaper bag from Groopdealz (buy here). I ordered option 4 with her initial. It doesn't match the diaper bag whatsoever, but I loved the print. I thought it would be good to keep liquids contained in a chic way.

Food cravings: Pineapple juice, milk, popcorn with Tapatio, and strawberries.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.

Have you started to show yet: Absolutely!

Gender: Team pink!

I also ordered two headbands from this Groopdealz (order here

Symptoms:Tiredness, minor hip pain, and dry skin.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, happy, happy!

Looking forward to: Seeing our maternity photos, my second baby shower, and hanging decoration in the nursery.

Bumpdate Week 32

 photo 52c44fac9d7011e2a3d822000a1f9be5_7_zps3597139d.jpg
31 Weeks
(Yes, I'm wearing my Old Navy dress again, it's just so comfy!)

How far along? 31 weeks! (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous)

Total weight gain: At my last Dr appointment, I had gained 10.5 lbs, but I’m thinking I’m around 15 lbs now. I have a Dr appointment Friday so I'll know then and post it with next week’s bumpdate.

Stretch marks?: Besides Stretch Mark Gate (read about it here  in Week 28) I haven't had any more pop up and the few I have on the underside of my chest have not grown or gotten worse.  I'm still using the  Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter every day and I must say, my skin is so soft from it! I'm still using  my Skincare Ormedic Balancing Anti Oxidant Serum on the stretch marks. I figured if it worked miracles on my under eye area it may work miracles for stretch marks too.

Maternity clothes: Getting dressed is so boring now. I feel like I have nothing to wear and I still have 9 weeks left (well now only 8 weeks as of today)! I feel like I wear the same 5 or 6 outfits to work each week. I bought some new dresses (you can see them here in my recent purchases), but I leave for work at 6am and I’m just not brave enough to rock bare legs yet because it’s still freezing at that time, even though it’s warm when I get off work.

I'm still wearing my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and my Kiki La'Rue Jeggings (which aren't maternity, but fit below my belly).  I love these pants, they're all I wear at this point in the game.
 photo e14bb6b49cc311e2bd6322000a1fa42a_7_zps1978affa.jpg
My thank you cards from my baby shower are all done and mailed out! I found these pretty ones from Home Goods. I think it's so important to send thank you cards, people appreciate getting them and everyone I know loves getting good mail. It's a manner I'll force teach all my children as well.

Belly Button in or out?: Half and half right now, the top has been out for a while but I had a huge growth spurt Thursday night and my belly button is halfway out now. It looks so weird! I don’t think it will be out that far, but you never know.

Sleep: Sleep is better, I’m still warm and waking up once during the night to use the restroom and baby still prefers for me to sleep on my right side instead of my left, but I’ve woken up to some hip pain. To counteract this I’ve started the night off sleeping on my left to get more time on that side. Good news is that my leg cramps are gone!
 photo 33972c229fc211e285fc22000a1f96be_7_zpsa5c05c8a.jpg
Our IKEA Hemnes Dresser! (from this post
We added our own knobs (two different kinds) and contact paper from Home Goods. I'll be doing a full post and where everything is from when the nursery is finished (whenever that may be).

Best moment this week: I’ve had three, first my sister-in-law’s wedding on Friday. It was such a beautiful wedding and I had a great time. It was a total honor being a bridesmaid!

Then on Sunday we had our maternity photos taken with Lovers of Love Photography, we found them through my sister-in-law who used them for their engagement and wedding photos. They’re the sweetest married couple and we had such a great time shooting with them. I can’t wait to get the photos and share them!

After this weekend slowed down a bit, we finally finished the baby’s dresser! I'm so glad to have it done, I also picked up a mirror and two frames. Can't wait to really put everything together.

Worst moment this week: Telling my husband that we need to re-arrange the nursery now that the furniture is in it. LOL. I’ve already had him move things once, and now I want them back to where they were because where I thought I wanted the crib doesn’t leave enough room between the edge of the closet and the edge of the crib. I mean, you don’t have to walk in sideways, but I don’t like how it looks. The room is kind of small and it was hard to envision how everything would look until I had all the furniture in there. The only thing is that the outlet that goes with the light switch is where we have the dresser now, so it totally works, but by switching the crib/dresser, the outlet will be by the crib now instead. So I'm thinking of using a tall lamp by the crib for when I need a lot of light, and using a small lamp on the dresser to turn on for less light/night changings. Boo-hiss.

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything? Seafood! On Monday we went to Red Lobster with the family and I wanted to eat everything on the menu. I miss having clams and mussels (they’re too high in mercury) or eating seafood more than once a week.
 photo 7d9e786e9efc11e2816b22000a9f17df_7_zps3a761e85.jpg
I ordered this headband from Groopdealz forever ago and it finally came in!
I love the gem/pearl details in the center of each flower.

Movement: Our little bunny moves all the time. At this point in the pregnancy you’re supposed to count kicks and movement, but I really don’t need to because she’s active so much. You can really tell how much she’s grown because her movements have changed and I can tell she has less room now.

Food cravings: Sprite (I want the carbonation), fruit, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.

Have you started to show yet: Absolutely!

Can I please tell you how rude people are to pregnant people sometimes? It’s like they don’t have a filter. Yes, lots of people carry things for me, hold open doors, let me cut in front of them in line etc. which I’ve been reveling in, but the things that come out of people’s mouths astound me. Note: these are not the same people who are being so kind either. They say things like “Oh you looked so big before, but now that I’m closer you’re a lot smaller”, “Are you due next week? You look so big, do people tell you how big you look?” Thanks jerk faces! Like I need a reminder, I already know that I’m weighing in close to my husband and my sweatpants are too tight.

Then there’s the sweet women who have been pregnant before saying how pretty you look, how small you are, that you look just how you’re supposed to at this stage. I don’t care if they’re lying through their teeth, I love hearing such nice things. So to everyone reading, please don’t tell a pregnant woman how big they look, that they’re ready to pop, etc. instead compliment them about how they’re glowing and how beautiful they look pregnant. I don’t mind the weight I’ve gained or how I look because I feel great and our little girl will be our greatest joy, but sweet words can turn anyone’s day around in a heartbeat.
 photo ea2ed6f6a0a311e2bb5822000a9e060e_7_zps8b2f7a7c.jpg
I ordered some adorable headbands from The Pink Ruffle on Etsy. They are so soft!

Gender: Team pink!

Symptoms: Still getting the hiccups daily, and I’m getting more and more tired as the weeks go by. I have yet to feel any bursts of energy. My pregnancy has been very easy and I haven’t had any extremes one way or the other which I’m thankful for, but I think that’s why I haven’t had any bursts or energy.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, happy, happy!

What I'm reading: No time for reading with all the excitement around the wedding, but I’ll get back to my routine reading this week. I can’t wait to start The Happiest Baby on the Block, I’ve been dying to read it!

Looking forward to: Putting together the nursery and organizing her room. We’ll move the furniture in the next few days and then I can add all the details her nursery. I’m so excited for it! It will be our most put together room in the apartment. I haven’t hung anything in our place, but I’m definitely going to hang some goodies for her room. Now I only need to paint a few items and pick up some pillows for our rocking chair!

Bumpdate Week 31

 photo IMG_0310_zps4d4e6c2a.jpg
30 Weeks 3 Days

How far along?  30 weeks! I know I say this every week, but the pregnancy has gone by so fast. It's incredible to me that our little bunny will be here in less than 10 weeks. (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous)

Total weight gain: At my last Dr appointment, I had gained 10.5 lbs and I think I'm at least 12 now, I have a Dr appointment next Friday so I'll know the true number soon. My belly has been growing each day...along with my face.

Stretch marks?: Besides Stretch Mark Gate (read about it here in Week 28) I haven't had any more pop up and the few I have on the underside of my chest have not grown or gotten worse. I'm still using the  Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter every day and use my Skincare Ormedic Balancing Anti Oxidant Serum on the stretch marks. I figured if it worked miracles on my under eye area it may work miracles for stretch marks too.

Only 10 weeks left! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by!

Maternity clothes: I'm beginning to feel like I wear the same things all the time. My belly has grown so much the last two weeks that shirts I was wearing last month are too tight or too short to wear now. At this point in the pregnancy, I don't want to buy anything more unless it's for breastfeeding i.e. nursing bras, tanks, and pjs.

I'm still wearing my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and my Kiki La'Rue Jeggings (which aren't maternity, but fit below my belly).  I love these pants, they're all I wear at this point in the game.

Belly Button in or out?: Flat! It has taken on a new look all its own and will be popping out any day I think. The top ridge is still out and I've noticed more is beginning to join it.

Sleep: Oh man, I have been so hot these past two weeks! We sleep with the window open, the fan cranked up (we don't want to put the AC on just yet), I'm sleeping in the buff or in minimal pjs and I still wake up every night because I'm hot and uncomfortable. I'm also waking up around 2-3AM to use the restroom and get something to drink. My mouth is so dry in the morning, I pound a glass of juice/water before I get in the shower, and still have another glass with my breakfast. Also, any preggers or mommies out there who noticed that their baby preferred for them to sleep on one side over another. I typically sleep on my right side and when I switch to my left side it feels like the baby is trying to push me back over. It feels like she extends both her arms and legs and that she's pushing/drawing on my left side of my belly. Is that weird? Have you experienced anything like this? I've also noticed that my right hip will have some pain from sleeping on it for so long.

 photo IMG_0354_zps90c3a084.jpg
Here I am in all my 30 week glory!

Best moment this week: Swimming! My doctor said that swimming is great for pregnant women because it takes stress off your joints and back and the baby enjoys it because they're bouyant. My family heated their pool for Easter and I couldn't wait to jump in!

Worst moment this week: Nothing bad this week, besides being so hot during the night. Oh and on Tuesday I cried because I was feeling so overwhelmed and my hormones wouldn't let me stop once I started. Good news? My new elf liner lasted right through it perfectly. A review will be coming soon!

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything? Sleeping comfortably.

Movement: So much! She moves all day long and I love watching my belly move as she turns and stretches. Most of my family all got to see and feel her on Easter, it was awesome sharing it with them.

Food cravings: Chicken nuggets and Sprite.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing.

Have you started to show yet: You mean you can't tell in the bikini pic above? Bless your heart.

Gender: Team pink!

The elephant I ordered from Luna and Bean for Baby E came in!
Her name is embroidered on the ear in pink, but I covered it with the tag
since we're keeping it a secret on social media until she's here!

Symptoms: So I've had the hiccups for months now, but forget to include it on my posts. I have hiccups often normally, but while pregnant I have them every single day. Which is super annoying since my phone revolves around being on the phone all day. However, I guess I'd rather have hiccups than gas from the other end.

Happy or Moody most of the time:
Happy, happy, happy!

What I'm reading: Nothing, this past week and future week coming up has been insane. We've had holidays, sickness, and tomorrow my sister in law is getting married! No time for reading!

Looking forward to: The wedding tomorrow and putting the nursery together. Matthew put the body of the dresser together and this upcoming week I'm going to add contact paper to the bottom of the drawers so we can put it together completely. I'm also on the hunt for a few frames and a large mirror.

Thank you everyone for all your comments on my posts, Facebook, InstaGram, and emails. Your sweet words mean so much to me and I can't tell you how much I appreciate each of them!

Bumpdate Week 30

 photo babyshower1213_zpsa6c522dd.jpg
29 Weeks 2 Days

How far along?  29 weeks is today's review, but as of today I only have 10 weeks left!! Aaaaagh! (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous)

Total weight gain: At my last Dr appointment, I had gained 10.5 lbs and I think I'm at least 11 now. My belly has definitely grown this past week.

Maternity clothes: With my shower this past weekend and work, I haven't bought anything new. I posted about my Recent Purchases here earlier this week, but nothing too crazy there and no "maternity" clothing, just bump friendly items. I'm still wearing my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and my Kiki La'Rue Jeggings (which aren't maternity, but fit below my belly).  I've been debating on whether or not to buy maternity shorts. I only have 10 weeks lefts and my jean shorts from last summer fit me if I wear them unbuttoned, I just don't know if it would be worth the buy since I can wear them only on weekends.
Belly Button in or out?: Flat and funny looking. It's so flat that I don't think that it can get any flatter so I expect for it to start popping out asap.

Sleep: Still the same as before, I'm waking up at least once during the night. This past week I've woken up every night at the same time- 3am! Funny huh? I've also been really warm and just uncomfortable overall, we've been sleeping with the window open and a fan going, but it's just not enough. I think I'll have to crank the AC on if it doesn't get better.
 photo 6c755acc94e711e28fba22000a1fb1a7_7_zps4fb6074f.jpg
 Hubs putting together our crib!

Best moment this week: Hands down my baby showe, it was so perfect and fun. I've loaded all of the pics and will post about it next week!

We also put together our crib and moved the bookshelf to where it will be this weekend. I can't wait to start putting it all together, I will definitely post pictures!

Worst moment this week: Leg cramps, those suckers are pains in the rear end!

Have you told family and friends: Absolutely!

Miss Anything? Still seafood. My husband and I had salmon on Tuesday and went to lunch Sunday and everything that looked good to me was fish, which I couldn't have again until this past Tuesday. Oh, and salami! At my shower we had a cheese platter and it took a lot of willpower to not have the salami. It's so good and takes delicious with ghouda! (While pregnant, you're not supposed to have salami because it's a raw meat that has been cured.)

Movement: So much! Our little bunny is getting so big and her movements are getting stronger everyday. Sometimes it surprises me with how strong and big her kicks are getting. She's also been doing a lot of rolling, last week I saw she pirouetted all morning! This past week I've also felt like she's grown because I feel really tight and can tell she has less room now.

Food cravings: Melons! I bought two cantaloupes this past week that I'm waiting to ripen, but I can't wait to have some watermelon and honeydew. Grapes too. I've been wanting grapes forever, but they're still expensive at Costco and at the store I can only find small puny ones. So I'm holding out until I can get large firm, sweet grapes to really enjoy.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!

Have you started to show yet: Oh ya, I'm all belly!

Gender: Girl!

Symptoms: The leg cramping seems to have gotten worse. Thank you for all your suggestions last week, I've tried eating yogurt, bananas, and I'm already drinking at least one glass of milk each day if not several (I've always been a big milk drinker!), but there have been a few nights where I've woken up several times from them and twice where I had to jump out of bed like a flash. It's so annoying. I've start to try and stretch my upper body only now to prevent the leg cramps from happening. I'm still doing some research to see what I can do and if you have any other suggestions, I'm open!

Happy or Moody most of the time:
Happy, happy, happy!

What I'm reading: With the shower, errands, and having friends over I haven't read anything yet. I finally finished A Piece of Cake and will be posting a review about it because it was so good! I plan on starting The Happiest Baby this week.

Looking forward to: Putting together the nursery! Setting up the crib and the first shower really gave me the push I needed to get started. We plan on putting the dresser up next and then start decorating with the pieces we've bought for the room.

Bumpdate Week 29

How far along? 28 weeks today! (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous)

Total weight gain: I don't think I've grown any from last week, so I'm betting I'm still at 10.5 lbs.

Stretch marks?: None on my belly or sides (just a little bit on the underside of my breasts), I'm still using the  Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter every day.

Maternity clothes: Just wearing my regular clothes with the maternity pants I bought from Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and my Kiki La'Rue Jeggings (which aren't maternity, but fit below my belly).  I bought two maxi dresses for my showers and some cute accessories and I'm waiting to wear them at my showers first before wearing them all the time.

Belly Button in or out?: Flat and getting flatter all the time.

Sleep: Much better! I'm still waking up during the night, but not to use the restroom, mostly just being awake. I did this before I was pregnant too so it's not much of a change. There's been twice where I've woken up wide awake and was up for about 1-2 hours. I hate those nights because I just lay there bored, I've tried reading or doing something else, but I found it wakes me up more instead of lulling me back to sleep.

Best moment this week: Finalizing my shoes/accessories for my upcoming showers and getting blonde highlights (I plan on going back to blonde). I also did a lot of cleaning this weekend which feels great! We just need to start putting the nursery together now, assembling the furniture, etc.

Worst moment this week: The anticipation of my shower this weekend! I'm so excited for my first shower and this week has seemed to drag by.

Have you told family and friends: Yep!

Miss Anything? Shopping isn't as fun as it used to be, I went shopping this past weekend and there were so many pretty dresses that would be long enough without the bump, but is walking the line with the bump. I'm sticking to maxi's, but it would be nice to find a dress that's short without being hoochie.

Movement: Tons and in new ways I haven't felt before. It's really exciting! I love seeing my belly move, especially seeing a body part grazing from one side to the next. I'm unable to distinguish what body part is making the motion, but I love feeling her every day.

Food cravings: Mangoes, kiwis, and salmon. I've been dreaming of shrimp tacos, shrimp salads, salmon, lobster, and crab. Some mussels and clams would be nice too. I'm telling you, I plan on having a smorgasbord post baby.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.

Have you started to show yet: Yes!

Gender:Team pink!

Symptoms: My leg cramps are happening more frequently and have been more severe the last two days. Once I even cursed from the cramping and hubs came from another room to see what the heck was going on. I've had them for a while, but the cramping would disappear as soon as it appeared so it really wasn't a big deal.

Happy or Moody most of the time:
Happy!

What I'm reading: I haven't really been reading anything baby related yet, I'm almost finished with A Piece of Cake by Cupcake Brown (which although is astonishing and scary that someone's life can really be that way at such a young age, but is really good) and I want to finish it before the weekend because I borrowed it from a girlfriend and I'll see her at my shower and can return it. After I finish, I plan on starting The Happiest Baby.

Looking forward to: My shower this weekend!

27 Weeks 2 Days

This past week I had my Dr appointment, which I was so excited about! My mother-in-law came with me and the Dr said everything is looking great! He measured my belly and said I'm exactly where we need to be, we went over several questions I had about labor, delivery, etc. (I keep notes on my phone for questions I want to review with him). I'm so happy that I have such a great Dr, I feel comfortable talking to him about the most random pregnancy stuff and asking any question that pops into my head. Since we had a guest, we did an ultrasound to check our little bunny out and she is so cute! She kept moving her mouth, and you can already see she had my Anderson Chubby Cheeks (all Anderson's in my family have them). I can't wait to kiss and cuddle with her! Right now, she's also breach, positioned up and down, with her head and feet pointing up. He said not to worry about it now and we have plenty of time for her to flip and turn head down. At my next appointment, if she hasn't turned we'll discuss more options for us. I'm really not worried at all, I have a feeling she'll turn and I have full faith and trust in my Dr, so I'm not afraid of having a C-section if that's what will be best. I'll keep you informed for that update! I also passed my glucose test, so I'm very excited about that! I was a little nervous I may not pass, but we're in the clear!

My girlfriend had her shower this weekend and it made me so excited for her! It's been fabulous going through our pregnancies together and I can't wait to meet her little man next month!Excuse our squinty eyes, the sun was so bright!

Here's a picture of our Chi Omega sisters together at her shower.

As one of my gifts, I made her a baby blanket with a vintage football theme.

How far along?  27 weeks, the first week of my third trimester! (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous, so I'm 28 weeks today)

Total weight gain: 10.5 lbs! My Dr said I've made great progress, but that I "can do better". He told me he wants me to gain another 10-15lbs before I deliver. Baby is weighing in at 3.5lbs as well.

Stretch marks?:  I got them....and I cried....a lot. Then I prayed that I can be thankful for all my blessings and realize how vain I was being.........and then I cried again. I'm better now, I'd even go as far to say I'm over it, and am just so thankful for so many things- that I'm pregnant to begin with, how easy my pregnancy has been, how quickly we were able to get pregnant, and how healthy our baby is. THAT'S what's important. Not the faint pink stretch marks I have. I'm still using the  Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter every day and have started to use my Skincare Ormedic Balancing Anti Oxidant Serum on the marks as well- I figured if it worked miracles on my under eye area it may work miracles for stretch marks too.

Maternity clothes: I picked up a strapless bra this weekend, I had to go up a size in band, but size down in cup (or my regular pre-pregnancy cup size). I picked it up from Target and it has to be the most comfortable strapless bra I've ever worn. I think it's this one (I'm pretty sure, but not positive) and I was hesitant about the style of cups, but it works just as well, but more comfortable than standard strapless bras that have two separate cups (does that make sense?). Don't be fooled by the model, it is the worst picture ever of the product, Targer really needs to re-shoot this shot.

I'm still wearing my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and my Kiki La'Rue Jeggings (which aren't maternity, but fit below my belly). Nearly all of my shirts still work for my growing belly and some of my dresses have been turned into tunics for the time being.

I've been trying really hard at not buying any clothes, especially since my shower(s) are so close, but I couldn't help myself when two of these onesies were the last ones left at Target. The pants have little ruffles down the sides too.

Belly Button in or out?: Flat! I think it will definitely be popping out by the time Baby L arrives.

Sleep: Again, with my dreams! I need to only watch Disney or feel-good movies because anything at all suspenseful or sad that I watch/read before bed just really gets into my subconscious. Another girlfriend of mine is lending me her snoogle pillow, I've only used it a few nights and liked it, but it's a pain to change sides with during the night.

Best moment this week: I can still paint my toes!! My sweet husband was going to paint them for me, but I found that if I sit on the couch and bring up one foot at a time to the edge I can do it all by my big girl self. Phew, I feel like the hubs and I kind of dodged a bullet with this one.

Worst moment this week: The vainest day of my life, aka Stretch Mark Gate. I felt pretty silly after I was over it, especially knowing how lucky I am and how they'll probably get worse and I'll get more with this pregnancy and probably my future ones.

Here is another blanket I made for my sorority Big Sis, I absolutely love it! I'll have to make a duplicate for my little bunny.

Have you told family and friends: Absolutely!

Miss Anything? I've started making a list of the foods I want to eat as soon as the pregnancy is over. I don't have any strong cravings for anything I can't have, but I have been daydreaming about blue cheese (you are supposed to steer clear of unpastuerized cheeses due to bacteria).

Movement: Lots and lots! Right now she is hanging out just under my ribs so I have to stretch out to get some relief. I also feel a lot of weight in my lower abdomen which is really uncomfortable, especially when standing/walking, I feel like I need to wear a support band or something sometimes.

Food cravings: More fruit and Pinkberry. This weekend I had to have Pinkberry, once I thought about it, I couldn't get it out of my head, so the hubs and I piled into our car and waited in the longest line ever to get some. It was delicious and totally worth the wait!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nada.

Have you started to show yet: Yes and so has the top part of my belly button. You can see it through some of my shirts even.

Gender: Girl!

Symptoms: I'm getting more and more tired by day's end, but I'm also blaming the time change for this as well.

Happy or Moody most of the time:
Happy!

I had two fun surprises this past week, first, Frances of It's Sew my Style sent me the Animals book and The Happiest Baby. It was such a sweet and generous gift, thank you again! Second, one of my girlfriends gave me One Hot Mama, which I'm super excited about reading!

What I'm reading: Right now I'm reading A Piece of Cake, a memoir of Cupcake Brown, but it's giving me nightmares. I'm going to start reading the books above before bedtime now.

Looking forward to: The nursery is almost cleaned out!! Woohoo!! I just have a few items to go over, and it's those items where if they were to be thrown out, you would never know it, but for some reason you've held onto them forever. I was able to throw a lot of items out last week, and it felt so good to get rid of so much clutter! I'm actually looking forward to finishing up clearing it out this weekend, vaccuuming the room, and getting it ready to start putting together.

Thank you so much for reading along on my pregnancy journey, all your emails and comments have meant to much to me. Having a community to share this with and have women to ask questions to has been wonderful!

Bumpdate Week 27

26 Weeks 2 Days
(bikini is from Target a few years ago)

How far along?  26 (Each bumpdate reviews the week previous)

Total weight gain: My next Dr appt is on Monday so I'll have a definite weight gain next bumpdate. I'm still thinking around the 10lb mark though.

Stretch marks?: Not so far, I'm still using the  Burt's Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter every day. I really like using this butter, it absorbs quickly and has no smell.

I want to go back!

Maternity clothes: I'm still wearing my Old Navy Maternity Smooth-Panel Rockstar Jeggings  (I bought two pairs) and my Kiki La'Rue Jeggings (which aren't maternity, but fit below my belly).  I've bought two maxi dresses, one for my family shower/maternity pics and another just to wear. The first one fits perfectly and I'm hoping the 2nd one does too. I really need to get some shorts and I meant to order a pair from Old Navy when they were having a sale, but never bit the bullet. I can still wear all my shorts (including my fave neon pink ones!) while just using the zipper and leaving them unbuttoned, but I haven't worn them like this so I'm not sure if they'll be comfortable still or not.

Belly Button in or out?: Neither, it's nearly completely flat though now!

Sleep: Sleep has been better, but I really need to stop watching crime shows before bed because I've been having the wildest dreams that totally go along with the story lines of the shows I'm watching (I'm looking at your Criminal Minds!)

Best moment this week: Digging a hole in the sand at the beach and laying on my belly! It was so glorious, I even took a nap!! Can't wait to go again! Plus, it was nice to just let it "all hang out" in a bikini, I didn't have to worry about sucking it in anywhere.

Worst moment this week: Nothing, this week was really easy.

Have you told family and friends: Yes, but if we hadn't they would all know by now anyways. I look like I swallowed a basketball.

Only 100 days left!

Miss Anything? Blue cheese, I can't wait to have an Outback Steakhouse Wedge Salad. It's been calling my name.

Movement: Tons! I've noticed she's more alert during the day now than in weeks past and the few times I've woken up at night, she's been sleeping instead of being up.

Food cravings: Fruit, fruit, fruit! I've made several smoothies this week using the Yoplait mixed berries and adding OJ, lemonade, kiwi, and a banana. It's so bomb and keeps me full all morning long (I use the whole package and drink all of it, which the package says is "2" servings).

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.

Have you started to show yet: Um, totally.

Gender: Girl!

Symptoms: I'm beginning to get more tired at the end of each day, on Monday I went to sleep at 8!

Happy or Moody most of the time:
Happy go lucky over here!

What I'm reading: I finished Secrets of the Mommyhood by Heather Alexander (available here) and I loved it! The chapters and sections were short, to the point, and easy to read. There were tons of tips there and things I had no idea about and hadn't read in any other book or from other mommies. There were sections I read like "are you serious? that happens??" and then immediately texted my mommy friends for confirmation and to see what they experienced.

Secrets of the Mommyhood had great tips that go during your pregnancy, the delivery, handling a newborn, going back to work etc. She also included medical facts and stories from her girlfriends who had a different experience than her, which I appreciated.

If you're newly pregnant or have a friend who just found out they're pregnant, check this book out! It's the best pregnancy book I've read so far. Plus, it's hilarious, like a girlfriend is just telling you how it really is.

Looking forward to: Finally cleaning out the nursery. The hubs and I have said that this Sunday we are locking down and getting it down at all costs. Then we can focus on putting together the furniture and getting it decorated. I've wanted to clean out a box each day from there, but I've been so tired from work this past week I've skipped doing it altogether. Wish me luck this weekend!

Starting next week, I'll be getting off work an hour earlier so I'm hoping to get some good OOTD pics for you guys!

To all my pregnant sisters out there, please dish on how you're pregnancy has been going!
