People Magazine came out with their 10 Best Dressed for this year. Here's the list:
-Jennifer Aniston
-Rihanna
-Jessica Alba
-Lea Michele
-Zoe Saldana
-Gwen Stefani
-Kate Middleton
-Rachel Bilson
-Olivia Palermo
-Diane Kruger
Do you agree? For the most part I do, I don't think that Jennifer Aniston should be on there- she so boring and she had a lot of so-so moments this year, Rihanna would be on my list for last year, but I feel that this year she's in a weird transition period for her style. Gwen Stefani does always look fabulous, but I don't know many people who copy her style because it's not something most everyday women can pull off. Kate Middleton- she's Prince William's boo if you don't recognize her name. I wouldn't list her just because most people don't really know who she is.
Here's my updated 10 Best Dressed for 2010 to replace those four, but keeping the remaining six:

-Blake Lively: She always looks fabulous and sexy!
-Cameron Diaz: This year's Oscar dresses blew me away! Plus her everyday style is gorgeous.
-Dakota Fanning: Love her red carpet choices and she always dresses her age.
-Lady Gaga: Would I wear everything she does? Hell no. Do most everyday women wear what she wears? Hell no. But is she not afraid to be who she is and uses fashion to make a statement? Hell yes and that's why she's on my list.
Who's on your list? What do you think of People's 10 Best Dressed?
Look how beautiful and feminine Kristen Stewart is! She's wearing a PINK dress with PINK blush!! Yessss, Kristen has come over to the bright side of life. She even made my best dressed for the Oscar's! I don't know what has brought all of this on (maybe love??) but I have to say I love it! She's a beautiful woman, but that outward beauty doesn't always shine when her hair is a mess, she's not smiling, and she has a distant glaze over her eyes.
Doesn't she look just fab?! I love the dress, with the sexy cut outs on the top, the bright color - perfect for spring, and the mini length. I just love love love it! I like that she kept to her style though with her tough hair, nails and heels.
Here she is with my recent Celeb Inspiration Dakota Fanning, aren't they so cute as friends? Are you going to see The Runaways?
Here she is at Robert Pattinson's premiere for Remember Me, I loved her makeup here. Her dark shadow really made her green eyes pop, and the blush made her cheeks look fierce. I may have to add this pic to my board.
Here she is at the Elle Style Awards where I first noticed the change in her style. The dress is so cute.
What do you think of Kristen's style? Do you like it better like this- feminine with some edge? Or do you prefer her tomboy look before?Obviously, I'm digging the new style. I think she has been killing it lately and pulling off this new look very well. She's still staying true to her style with dark colors, rocker heels, and dark nails. I hope she sticks with this style, because she looks great and I'd love to copy some more looks.
I was looking through my saved pictures I find and keep because I like the outfit/hair/makeup etc. and I noticed there's a couple of people I have several pictures of. Then, I thought it would be a great idea to do a post about each person's style and what not that I admire. So here we go, I'll be doing a new post every few weeks that will feature someone that I admire both professionally and stylishly. Then I'd like to hear your thoughts! Who do you like? Who do you think is an awesome role model? Who always looks fab in about anything? I'd love to hear feedback!
Dakota Fanning has really been going all out lately! I'm so happy for her that she's doing so well, not just on the red carpet, but career wise as well. Although she's only 16 (can you believe it?), we have known her for a while (I Am Sam is a favorite of mine) and I must say that I really admire her fashion and beauty choices. I love that she keeps her hair simple and am quite jealous at her shine and how even when she wears it straight she (her stylist) makes it look really glam. Her make-up is age appropriate, simple, and gorgeous all the time as well. I love how her eyes looked at the New Moon premiere.
I think one of the most difficult things for women is dressing age appropriately (hello Miley Cyrus & Real Housewives of Everywhere, I'm talking to you). I know that this is something I struggle with, but I think it's even more difficult for women who have been in the spotlight for so long. All those awkward years? Sheesh, I'm so glad I didn't have to walk the red carpet when I was 14. When I was looking for pictures from her younger years, Dakota always found dresses that were young and fresh and wore them with appropriate make-up, shoes, etc.
When she first started walking the red carpet:
How she does it I don't know, but Dakota finds time to be a varsity cheerleader & homecoming queen at her high school.
Dakota's style is short and sweet

She looks great all glammed up and cougared out

I'm really looking forward to seeing more of her and how her style develops. What do you think of Dakota? Do you think she will be around forever?
