People Magazine's 10 Best Dressed

People Magazine came out with their 10 Best Dressed for this year. Here's the list:
-Jennifer Aniston
-Rihanna
-Jessica Alba
-Lea Michele
-Zoe Saldana
-Gwen Stefani
-Kate Middleton
-Rachel Bilson
-Olivia Palermo
-Diane Kruger

Do you agree? For the most part I do, I don't think that Jennifer Aniston should be on there- she so boring and she had a lot of so-so moments this year, Rihanna would be on my list for last year, but I feel that this year she's in a weird transition period for her style. Gwen Stefani does always look fabulous, but I don't know many people who copy her style because it's not something most everyday women can pull off. Kate Middleton- she's Prince William's boo if you don't recognize her name. I wouldn't list her just because most people don't really know who she is.

Here's my updated 10 Best Dressed for 2010 to replace those four, but keeping the remaining six:

-Blake Lively: She always looks fabulous and sexy!
-Cameron Diaz: This year's Oscar dresses blew me away! Plus her everyday style is gorgeous.
-Dakota Fanning: Love her red carpet choices and she always dresses her age.
-Lady Gaga: Would I wear everything she does? Hell no. Do most everyday women wear what she wears? Hell no. But is she not afraid to be who she is and uses fashion to make a statement? Hell yes and that's why she's on my list.

Who's on your list? What do you think of People's 10 Best Dressed?

I Want Your Bad Romance- Lady Gaga

Last Thursday night I went out with some of my girlfriends to see Lady Gaga. It was the BEST show I've ever seen! She is definitely worth every penny of my hard earned cash. I wish I had better pictures of her on stage, the costumes and stage were incredible. I tried to get some good shots of the screen to get a better picture for you guys.

The CRAZY opening band Semi Precious Weapons- They were so weird! The frontman is definitely a combination of Billy Idol, Ziggy Pop, and Lady Gaga. Not my cup of tea, but whatever floats your boat.

The opening for Lady Gaga! She came right out after the opening band, not like other superstars (ahem Britney Spears)  where you wait 45 minutes before their first number.

After the show, B and I in our new concert shirts

There were SO many people dressed up! It was so fun to see how creative some people were. I bet some of them had to have been planning for a while. Here is one of my favorite costumes I saw, but trust me, there were ALL kinds of crazy ones!

Some protestors outside, didn't know being a Gaga fan would send me to Hell. Weird:

Her entire show was insane- definitely the best performance I have ever seen. I would love to see her again the next time she comes into town. If she's coming to you, buy her tickets! Her show is efficient, her costume changes quick, and visually stunning. The dancers were incredible and really got the crowd pumped. She played almost all of her songs, all of the good ones anyways! She always debuted a few songs from her upcoming album and I CANNOT WAIT for it because the songs were killer.

After her show, I must say I'm an even bigger fan than I was before the concert. Not only did her entire show rock, she really connected with the audience. She is so warm and really cares about her fans. Throughout the entire night she told everyone to be free and not to be afraid to be themselves and stay true to who they were, that everyone is born rockstars. Gaga wanted everyone to leave her concert not loving her more, but loving themselves more. I thought that was so freaking cool of her.

I know there's a lot of talk and controversy around Gaga, but I just adore her. She really performs for her fans so they can feel proud to be who they are. She has said this hundreds of times in interviews and again at the show, that she was a "freak" in high school and people consistently told her she couldn't sing well enough, dance well enough, wasn't thin enough, couldn't play well enough etc. but look at where she is now. She stayed true to herself and kept pushing forward, unafraid of what others thought of her. Lady Gaga is very inspirational and I believe she will always be an icon.

Let's have some fun This beat is sic.....

LADY GAGA
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Does she wear weird stuff? Yes.
Is her hair different nearly everyday? Yes.
Does her music make me want to dance? Yes.
Have you seen her wear pants? Rarely.

I think I'm in love with her! She's just so unique and different. She's like David Bowie and Cher had a baby together.

I saw this article on Fox News and I think her and I could be really close friends.

"I was on my way to a festival, I was on the street and he (a police officer) stopped me. He said ‘put your ass up against the fence’, there were kids around so I guess he wanted me to cover up my bum - quite a bit was showing," Gaga explained. "But it was quite an epic moment for me, I was up against the fence going ‘it’s fashion, I’m an artist!’

"But I’ve always been famous, it is just that nobody knew."

I think she's very inspiring; her music doesn't sound like anything else on the radio, she's not afraid to just wear whatever she wants, she makes no apologies for what she wears/who she is. I think she's redefining fashion and music. Plus her CD rocks.
