WCW: Olivia Wilde

Before, I never really cared or paid much attention to Olivia Wilde. Sure she's beautiful and talented, I just didn't get the hype about her. Then she got pregnant and became the most stunning pregnant lady I ever laid eyes on. The last two award shows she has just wowed me. I keep looking at her pictures from the red carpet and she is gorgeous. Ugh, I'm in love with her now. Here are her most recent looks that have me gaga for her.

I follow Revlon on Instagram, and Olivia is one of their spokeswomen and they posted a picture with a "get the look" which included for look 1: ColorBurst Matte Balm in Complex, Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Cognito, ColorStay ShadowLinks in Taupe. The second look is definitely my favorite between the two, her hair and dress color are supreme and she is truly glowing. What are your thoughts? Who did you not care for before, but have had a change of heart for? 

Lovely Leighton

I'm seriously loving Leighton Meester's look from last night's MTV Movie Awards. The dress is gorgeous, I am drooling over long-sleeved minis lately, and her hair/make-up are gorgeous! Her hair in my opinion, is the perfect ombre and beach waves. I want to make a hair appt asap now for this color.

Best Dressed at the SAGs

I was too late to post about the GG, but I'm on top of the SAGs!


Some of the ladies of Glee killed it, per usual! Sorry Naya, you just haven't quite got it yet. I'm still in love with these three ladies, they really know how to bring it to the red carpet.

Modern Family looked H-O-T too. I know Julie Bowen's look is controversial since it's a pantsuit, but I think she wore it really well.

These ladies were also GORGEOUS! These mothers-to-be were stunning this year and their dresses showed off their growing bumps while still being nothing but stunning.

Angie Harmon, your dress I think is my fave overall. It's just lovely. It would be the cutest wedding dress too.

Best & Worst Dressed at the Emmys 2010

The Emmy's this year did not disappoint! At least no on the red carpet anyways!

Here are my best dressed in no particular order because I couldn't pick just one:

Glittering in gold (yellow for Sofia)- Heather Morris was a s-t-u-n-n-e-r in this gold number! Best outfit I've ever seen her wear! I love all her look, the dress, her glamorous hair, red lipstick and black accessories. I'm def going to remember this for my NYE dress.  Nina Dobrev was beautiful in her Grecian style dress. Her dangly earrings and updo were the perfect choice. Claire Danes was gorgeous in her shimmer number, her make-up perfect and her low key hair also looked amazing. With Sofia Vergara it was love at first sight. First she's wearing my fave color (yellow), the sparkle down the center really accentuated her curves, and her hair made me super jealous. This look is much better than her homecoming look at the SAG awards (see here).

Jewel tones- January Jones looked aaaamazing in this bright blue number. I know she got a lot of slack and critics are still complaining, but I thought the color and creative cut worked for her. The color really complimented her skin, hair and eyes. Although, I think a better hair do would have been a better choice. Emily Deschanel was charming in purple, I love both the style and color of the dress. Kyra Sedgwick's dress was just lovely! I loved how she paired it with loose waves and neutral colored jewelry.

Neutrals- Amber Riley was marvelous in a white Grecian style dress. Her jewelry choices impeccable and matched well with her dress. I loved her updo as well. Great choice for the Emmy's and for her curves. Jennifer Carpenter's dress really accentuated her silhouette and her hair pulled to the opposite corner was gorgeous! Heidi Klum looked stunning in a short number, standing out across all of the long dresses. My favorite part of her look is her shoes! Lea Michele looked gorgeous as always! Her dress and jewelry were stunning, but I'm indifferent about her hair. Looks to me like it should have been more curled or straighter.

 

Best dressed male goes to Ryan Kwantan for going outside of the black tuxedo box. He looked so hunky with a bit of scruff in his navy blue and black plaid suit and maroon tie. Swoon.

Now on to my worst dressed;

 

Naya Rivera, what were you thinking? All of this is a NO. Were you trying to emulate devil horns with your hair?

Keri Russel, you do look fab, but far too casual for the Emmy's.

PS are her and Naya wearing the same shoes?

Stephanie Pratt- You look great, but this was a formal affair.

Best Dressed at Teen Choice Awards

Ok, so I know I'm a little late for this post, but better late than never right? I haven't watch the entire show, I'm halfway through it, but I made sure not to miss any red carpet coverage or blog posts!!


Here are my best dressed:

 

Amber Riley- Oooh girl, you're  looking SMOKING! Love the color, belted waist, colored shoes, and the hemline. Everything about this look was perfection! This is a perfect look for a hot date, work, or out with friends too.

 

Selena Gomez- She is always so cute and dressed appropriately. With this look, she still remains on my up and coming Red Carpet ladies. Love this fun white dress and the nude gladiator shoes are perfect for upping the ante.

 

Sandra Bullock- Motherhood is working for her, she is just beaming with happiness! This look is definitely justifying my recent purchase of liquid leggings for this fall and I must copy this look from her ASAP. Her smoky eye, loose curls, and killer shoes make this outfit h-o-t!

 

Kristen Bell- Love this color and the uniqueness of the dress. Her shoes are gorgeous nudes too!




My favorite of the night (beside Sandra and Amber) would have to be my girl Lea. However, please IGNORE her shoe choice. Those shoes, although nude and a perfect color choice, are horrendous! WAY too heavy to be worn with such a feminine and bold dress. Other than the shoes, her hair, make-up, jewelry and dress are gorgeous!!

Quick sidenote, when the HELL did Lea get so freaking thin??? I've read that since starting Glee she is working out regularly and has become vegan, but she looks thinner and thinner every time I see her. Here's a reference from the start of the Glee phenomenom at the Teen Choice Awards last year:

She's still really thin and in GREAT shape, but just a little bit curvier than she looked this year. I personally prefer her with the extra 5-7 lbs, she looked healthy and real- which is part of her appeal to me.

Sizzlin Summer Looks

Want to know the best place to be inspired for summer looks? The PYTs of Hollywood!! Spring & Summer are my absolute favorite seasons and I can't wait to bust out summer wardrobe.

The Kids' Choice Awards was filled with beauties and some gorgeous dresses:

Selena Gomez got the side braid memo! I loved this yellow on her too. Selena always looks fresh, young, and age-appropriate, which I adore.

Victoria Justice (who is that? Ya, good question) shows us a great way to dress with the season change- bright frock and dark shoes. The green color is so bright and gorgeous with her skin and hair. Plus, I'm really jealous of her lush locks.

Notice any trends? Bright shoes and spotted dresses! Wouldn't these make the cutest Easter outfits? They just scream spring to me!

Oh how I love Lea Michele! She looks so pretty in pink, I'm just in awe of her gorgeous (& subtle) make-up, the lush eyelashes, warm glow, and rosy cheeks.. sigh so pretty! Her dress is also super gorgeous with it's short hemline and fun sleeves to even out the legginess of the dress. Which is your favorite look? Did you watch the award show?

Get It Riri!

So, Rihanna has been in a little bit of a fashion slump recently....see here and here. I figure she's just going through a fashion change and those can definitely get awkward sometimes. Well, with the Kids' Choice Awards this weekend and spring all up in the air, Riri looked HOT!! I loved her dress (she added the shoulder pads to the original dress), her make-up and hair looked so fresh! I really love her short hair and I'm really feeling the look here with the black color in the front- I think it's a great way to play with color outside of the box. Also, her lipstick is gorgeous! The socks with pumps I could have gone without, but she rocked the new trend and didn't look too bad doing it. Woohoo for Riri! What do you think of her look?

Oscar Fashion Review

Here are my best dressed:

Kristen Stewart killed it last night (although her personality is a blackhole). I've never seen her look so gorgeous before! Her hair was pulled up elegantly, her dress was dark and glamorous, I hope I see her like this more on the red carpet in the future.


Cameron Diaz was a glamazon last night! I don't think I've ever seen her look so classic as she does in this beautifully beaded dress, bright lips, and gorgeous long hair. I love love loved it!


I never thought I'd see Miley Cyrus on my best dressed list. Who knew!? I thought she looked really elegant and I adored her hair and makeup. The top of this dress was gorgeous!

For best dressed male I thought Ryan Reynolds looked fab! I think it's really hard for men to stand out when they don't get a lot of options for a tuxedo. They kind of just get lost along the sea of beautiful women.

I loved that his jacket went a bit lower than other ones, the classic black buttons on his shirt, and his crisp bow tie was to GQ. Kudos Ryan for standing out!

Queen Latifah is always glamorous.


Amanda Seyfried looked great in this wedding-esque dress.


Jake Gyllenhaal would look great in anything....especially nothing at all.


Brian Geraghty, I loved how he brought some youth to his "penguin" suit with his spiky hair.


Here's my worst dressed:

Zoe Saldana has been one of the most gorgeous women on the red carpet lately, but I just didn't care for this dress. I felt that the bottom didn't match the top and it should have been either-or.


Carey Mulligan's jewelry was breathtaking and I liked the top of this dress, but I hated how it came up in the front. I think it's a really hard look to pull off and it reminds me too much of a bad homecoming dress. This would have been a perfect look if either a) the front came up higher, just above her knees or b) was floor length in the front.


Mariah Carey needs to step it up already. I know she has beautiful curves and great legs, find something that is classy and sexy. Find a new stylist.

Did you notice that there was very little smoky eyes? A lot of women went for a more natural look. I loved it, and to me it said "I'm ready for summer!"
