Beauty Inspiration: Kristen Stewart

For this Wednesday, instead of a Celeb Inspiration focused on fashion, I thought it would be fun to do a post focused on beauty. How do you like them apples? If you don't care for this post, let me know! I don't want to do posts you lovelies aren't interested in. Please feel free to give any comment, criticism, suggestion etc in a comment below or in an email for future ideas/posts.

To start it off, I chose someone that most of you will probably be on the fence about: Kristen Stewart.

I chose Kristen because she's not the typical stereotype for Hollywood. Since she's new to the red carpet scene, she's grown a lot in terms of beauty and fashion... if we could only get her to pose a little bit better. What I admire most about her beauty looks is her edgy, bit vampy style and that she's not a beauty robot. Not all of these looks are something I would try and copy myself, but she really rocks them well. Especially for being more of a tom boy, her make-up choices have been a perfect reflection of her personality and style.

Take a look at her make-up at the screening of her new movie Welcome to the Rileys, I'm just swooning at the old Hollywood glamour of it. This is my favorite look so far and what prompted me to do this post to begin with. She's really working both her eyes and lips together isn't she? Perfection.

Doesn't she look stunning???

Here's some other beauty looks of hers I also adored:

Kristen switches from playing up her eyes and wearing a bold lip, never forgetting to have a soft blush for her cheeks.

What do you think of Kristen's beauty choices? What would you like to see her do next?

Armageddon Is Here!

Look how beautiful and feminine Kristen Stewart is! She's wearing a PINK dress with PINK blush!! Yessss, Kristen has come over to the bright side of life. She even made my best dressed for the Oscar's! I don't know what has brought all of this on (maybe love??) but I have to say I love it! She's a beautiful woman, but that outward beauty doesn't always shine when her hair is a mess, she's not smiling, and she has a distant glaze over her eyes.

Doesn't she look just fab?! I love the dress, with the sexy cut outs on the top, the bright color - perfect for spring, and the mini length. I just love love love it! I like that she kept to her style though with her tough hair, nails and heels.

Here she is with my recent
Celeb Inspiration Dakota Fanning, aren't they so cute as friends? Are you going to see The Runaways?

Here she is at Robert Pattinson's premiere for Remember Me, I loved her makeup here. Her dark shadow really made her green eyes pop, and the blush made her cheeks look fierce. I may have to add this pic to my board.

Here she is at the Elle Style Awards where I first noticed the change in her style. The dress is so cute.

What do you think of Kristen's style? Do you like it better like this- feminine with some edge? Or do you prefer her tomboy look before?
Obviously, I'm digging the new style. I think she has been killing it lately and pulling off this new look very well. She's still staying true to her style with dark colors, rocker heels, and dark nails. I hope she sticks with this style, because she looks great and I'd love to copy some more looks.

Oscar Fashion Review

Here are my best dressed:
Photobucket

Kristen Stewart killed it last night (although her personality is a blackhole). I've never seen her look so gorgeous before! Her hair was pulled up elegantly, her dress was dark and glamorous, I hope I see her like this more on the red carpet in the future.

Photobucket

Cameron Diaz was a glamazon last night! I don't think I've ever seen her look so classic as she does in this beautifully beaded dress, bright lips, and gorgeous long hair. I love love loved it!

Photobucket

I never thought I'd see Miley Cyrus on my best dressed list. Who knew!? I thought she looked really elegant and I adored her hair and makeup. The top of this dress was gorgeous!

For best dressed male I thought Ryan Reynolds looked fab! I think it's really hard for men to stand out when they don't get a lot of options for a tuxedo. They kind of just get lost along the sea of beautiful women.
Photobucket

I loved that his jacket went a bit lower than other ones, the classic black buttons on his shirt, and his crisp bow tie was to GQ. Kudos Ryan for standing out!

Honorable mentions go to the following:
Photobucket

Meryl Streep is always a beauty.

Photobucket

Queen Latifah is always glamorous.

Photobucket

Amanda Seyfried looked great in this wedding-esque dress.

Photobucket

Jake Gyllenhaal would look great in anything....especially nothing at all.

Photobucket

Brian Geraghty, I loved how he brought some youth to his "penguin" suit with his spiky hair.

Here's my worst dressed:
Photobucket

Zoe Saldana has been one of the most gorgeous women on the red carpet lately, but I just didn't care for this dress. I felt that the bottom didn't match the top and it should have been either-or.

Photobucket

Carey Mulligan's jewelry was breathtaking and I liked the top of this dress, but I hated how it came up in the front. I think it's a really hard look to pull off and it reminds me too much of a bad homecoming dress. This would have been a perfect look if either a) the front came up higher, just above her knees or b) was floor length in the front.

Mariah Carey needs to step it up already. I know she has beautiful curves and great legs, find something that is classy and sexy. Find a new stylist.

Who did you think was best dressed? Worst dressed? Did you watch the awards? Or just the red carpet coverage?

Did you notice that there was very little smoky eyes? A lot of women went for a more natural look. I loved it, and to me it said "I'm ready for summer!"
