The rain here has been INSANE! I haven't seen it rain this hard or flood the streets this badly since I was in high school. Incidentally, it was the first year I lived here and really made an impression on me. I compare all rains to that year because it was so crazy. As soon as second week of January hits, I'm fully ready for Spring. All I can think about is florals, pastels, brights, and sandals. I can't wait, it's one of my favorite seasons! I've ordered a few things I'm waiting to come in and I can't wait for sunshine and warmth! Until then I'm just trying to stay dry!

Recent IG OOTDs
Good morning! Hope your day is off to a good start and your work day goes quickly. I love daylight savings time in the mornings, but man I hate coming home in the dark! Arizona has it good when it comes to the time change, plus, who really gets an extra hour of sleep? Honestly.
Here's a few OOTD pics from Instagram, I'm hoping to do some more outfit pics, but it's so hard on the weekend with all of our activities and now with it being so dark after work, it's gonna be tough! I love these posts so I'm hoping to have more soon!

IG Roundup
I haven't done an IG round up in forever and I get that it's kind of an "easy" post, but I wanted to share some stuff I've posted to IG, but haven't had a chance to talk more or review on the blog yet. So although you've seen all of these pics on IG already if you follow me there, here they are again but with some more info about it.
Ohmygoodness. The nesting period of this pregnancy has hit! I didn’t really experience the same urgency/need to do stuff for Ellie's nursery. I wanted to get it done, but the passion and urgency I feel for it is completely different now for Little Baby 2. I had a day off this past week and took full advantage of shopping til I dropped. I went to Kirkland’s and picked up some items for our living room/bedroom, then I went to Home Goods where I bought everything. The picture above doesn’t even show what I put into the cart on my way to check out, or what I had to store inside the laundry bag, or the items I had to carry in my arm to the front. Then, on top of that I went to Target and bought a few more house décor items. What the heck!?
We’ve slowed down on the decorating of our house because I wanted to wait for inspiration or new furniture (I really want a China Buffet and new dining table), but I’m sick of looking at our blank walls and decided it needed some freshening up. I bought mirrors, candlesticks, accent pieces, and I’m not nearly done, but I’m excited to bring our home together more. I’m not sure of everything I picked up will work for the space I intended it for, but I’ve learned my lesson about Home Goods and Kirklands- if you see it buy it immediately and return later if you change your mind. Things go so quickly there and it’s better to trust your gut about pieces. There are a few pieces I have in mind from Kirklands still that I may go back for (generic stuff they always have different items of like wall sconces, not a specific piece) if I decide to move some pieces we have around or the pieces I bought don’t work out.
These jammies are the best I’ve ever had! Did you sing that to the song tune? I totally did as I typed it. They are so extremely soft and comfortable. Matt and Ellie gave them to me for Mother’s Day and I’ve pretty much lived in them since. They’ll be great to wear while breastfeeding and I plan to take them to the hospital with me for after delivery. I bought my regular size, but I might buy a second pair a size up because I don’t want to stretch them out. Or maybe just another pair because they are the best pajamas and I need several sets.
I bought these clips from Jane from Etsy shop TinkerCrafts and we love them! I like to put bows and such in Ellie’s hair now that it’s long enough to put up. She wore headbands forever and then we had a short period of time where she didn’t want to wear headbands, but her hair wasn’t long enough for a clip alone or to put up yet. She loves to pick out matching bows or clips for her hair each morning and these are easy and simple to use. The clips are covered in a fabric so shimmery it looks like glitter, but since it’s not, there’s no fallout. She’s even worn her hair down a few times with these clips keeping her bangs out of her face, which I thought she would never wear her hair like that! She’s really active and likes her hair no fuss and out of her face, if I use a clip/bow that’s distracting or heavy for her she’ll rip that sucker right out.
My little sister is getting married this fall and the bridesmaids and I are throwing her a shower at my house later this summer. The invitations were just sent out and I absolutely love them! One of her bridesmaids who recently moved to the east coast isn’t able to come to the shower, but took charge of the invites (a huge help!) and she chose the most stunning invites I have ever seen. They’re from Etsy shop Ruby Ridge Studios and she showed me a preview of them and they were gorgeous, but in person they are simply beautiful. It’s the perfect invite for the feel of the shower and my sister’s style for her wedding- feminine, floral, and whimsical.
Sterling Forever was sweet enough to send me some items- the Raindrops Opaque Statement Necklace and their Double Pearl Stud . These were delivered over the weekend and they're so pretty. I'm really excited to wear them and have already started picking out a few outfits for each.
My blush addiction is getting carried away. I've been longing for another one to add to my collection and have been blogging about getting Dame as a dupe for my beloved and now discontinued Pink Swoon. When I went into to check out the blushes, Dame was pretty, but just wasn't doing it for me. I talked to one of the consultants and I picked out one of their newer Pro Longwear Blush called I'm A Lover. It's a beautiful pink with a blue base and has great pigment. I wore it for the first time Sunday and although it's has a great pigment, it's not too strong and is easy to build. It gives a great flush and is really quite pretty. I'll try and get a a pic of me wearing it.
Matt gave me these Nikes for my birthday and I absolutely love them. It feels like walking on air and I really wish I could wear them to work. I love wearing them for errands, but still use my old ugly ones for gardening because I don't want to get these grass or dirt stained.
Hope you're having a fantastic start to the short work week! I hope it goes by quickly for everyone!

Instagram OOTD & Jewels
I try and be good about taking pics of my outfits for the blog, but sometimes our day is too hectic when we get home to worry about taking pics, it's dark outside, or I just plum do not have anyone to take a pic of me- I mean Ellie doesn't have the coordination just yet you know? So instead, I will take a quick pic and post it to my IG account. So, if you have Instagram, you've already seen these and you can just skip right over this post altogether.

I've really been into layering my necklaces. I feel like I wear my "E" necklace almost daily. It's just so easy to mix in with my necklaces and layer together.

While I was on my maternity leave, I really stocked up on jewelry. I've always liked jewelry, but increased the amount of necklaces I own by a ton! I think I may even have gone over board.

1. Forever 21 Pencil Skirt (old) and Old Navy Plaid shirt (similar here)
2. Floral Leggings from Very Jane via White Plum Boutique, Target Mossimo Sandals and Tank (both old)
3. Steve Madden flats, Forever 21 Jeans, Target Boyfriend VNeck, Kiki La'Rue Lenore Scarf
4. Old Navy Tote, Forever 21 blouse (old), Kiki La'Rue Easy Come Easy Go Cardigan, Kiki La'Rue Country Girl Shorts , Aldo Barbara Sandals
5. Judith March Football Season Tank and Distressed Denim Cut Offs from Forever 21
6. Old Navy Sandals (old), Forever 21 Jeans, Ashley Button Back Top, Sequin Clutch from Very Jane via Mindy Mae’s Market
I'll definitely be posting some more full outfits coming up, I love doing outfits posts and love to see what others are wearing. Especially as we start the transition into cooler temps.
Hope you all have a fantastic day! Thank you for reading!

I already have Sally Hansen's Coral Reef and I love it, but wanted a coral color that was more peach. Then at Target I spotted Essie's Tart Deco and fell in love, but kept looking. Then I spotted Sally Hansen's Snappy Sorbet and it is seriously identical to Tart Deco. I had them side by side and couldn't tell a freaking difference other than the price. I love both brands, but I took home Sally's. This color is definitely more orange coral than the peach coral I was looking for, but it's such a pretty color and will look fabulous all summer, esp with a tan.
Team Logan's Avengers for the Autism walk through Our Nicholas Foundation for my adorable nephew.
OMG. I use my Notes app for absolutely everything and this is the 3rd time that it's magically disappeared. I nearly died. After so many people helped me, I found that it is backed up on my email, but I'm so annoyed regardless and have downloaded another app in it's place.
Monday was the best mail day, all my Forever 21 goodies came in (see this post for details), a teething necklace I bought from Groopdealz (I'll post more about it on this week's bumpdate), and a birthday card from my Grandpa all came in. I save all of my grandparents cards and it's so nice to have so many from my great grandparents and my Grandma who passed away last fall. I love seeing their handwriting and their words of love.

Best.Mail.Day.Ever. I LOVE Image Skincare products (see my reviews here) and am so happy to try their Body Spa Cell.U.Lift Firming Body Lotion and Prevention+ Daily Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30. Image Skincare has the most amazing products and I can't wait to review these two for you guys!
I posted this for Throwback Thursday #tbt of some of my best girlfriends on a Vegas trip a few years back. Oh how I miss my blond hair and extensions!
The hubs loves SPAM, but I just can't get on bored. I just don't trust canned meats and he made me try it- my verdict: it's ok. I would never want it again or buy it, but he picked some more up when he went to the grocery store -__-
The hubs and I go to the stores the day after every holiday to pick up our favorite sweets, this is the last of our Reese's PB Eggs and they were delicious. The holiday shapes have such a better taste than regular cups, they have a better PB to chocolate ratio I think.
I saw this beauty blender at Target and had to share. So many beauty gurus swear by these sponges and you can find it for a great price now! I didn't buy it myself because I use a brush for my foundation. Have you try this sponge before?
My sister found the perfect pink from Sally Hansen! It's Sweet Talker and for the life of me I haven't be able to find it anywhere. I'll just use hers until I see her next, he he he. This is three coats- the first coat is pretty sheer, but it builds to a pretty shade.
My new F21 top from this post, my lollysheep chain necklace, and day 2 hair/curls.
I saw this quote on Pinterest, and it's exactly how I've been feeling about the changes about to happen in our lives.

The hubs and I at the rehearsal dinner for his sister's wedding! It was such a gorgeous wedding and we had so much fun!
Getting ready for the wedding! I did my own along with three others make up so I brought all my goodies!
My fraternity celebrated it's 118th birthday! Such an exciting time and joining Chi Omega was one of the best decisions of my life!
On Sunday we had our maternity photo shoot and after I made some fish tacos using this ridiculously easy recipe.
Here's my hair on Wednesday after not washing/curling it since Sunday for our maternity shoot. I love not having to do my hair, it makes life so much easier!
Be sure to link up and share your IG pics!

Spring has finally sprung!
My IG post from the morning of my 1st shower, I felt like a child waiting for Christmas!
My sister and I at my gorgeous shower, which I posted about here!
A centerpiece my mother made for the shower, I loved having it at home and seeing it everyday.
The best self-tanner ever, a full review will be up next week! It's seriously life changing!
Hands down the best eye primer and I found it at Nordstrom Rack for less than half the cost!
After reading so many reviews I finally gave in and bought elf's cream liner at Target and love it! I'll be doing a review soon!
My Easter IG post and one of my favorite hymns. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and holiday!
