OOTD: Monochromatic and Lace

Remember this IG OOTD? Well, I finally had a chance to wear it again and snap some pics. This past weekend we went to my alma mater's pumpkin patch with Ellie and our family and had the best time. This outfit was perfect to wear to keep cool and be comfortable. I wore the light cardigan to keep the sun off my arms, but it turned out to be too hot so I ended up taking it off midday.

We had such a fun time at the festival, but it was so packed! We've gone before, but it wasn't as crowded in years prior. There were a lot more vendors there this year and we actually didn't pick up pumpkins because it was too hot and we were ready to leave by the time we had checked out all the shops and food trucks. We'll just get some pumpkins later this month to carve for the holiday.

Do you visit a pumpkin festival? Are you good at carving? It's so hard, maybe I'll just glitter and paint mine this year.

Trendy Tot Tuesday: Eleanor Lynn Mix and Match

I love seeing each guest hostess and the link-ups to see what are some great pieces for Ellie to wear, new places to shop, and finding some awesome Etsy shops. I've shopped for Ellie since day one- it's so fun shopping for babies, but shopping for girls is extra delightful. I love baby clothes and there's so much variety available for our wee ones. I like to buy easy and comfortable pieces for her to wear that are easy to wear, wash well, and can be mixed and matched. I like to buy a variety of colors for her, but my favorite on her are blues and yellows. They just make her bright eyes pop! Oh, and we are headband obsessed! Here are some of my favorite things to buy for my little bunny.

The Carter's sets are great because you get a cute outfit, but each piece is so easy to match with other pieces that I've bought separately or from other sets. I like to get her fun prints that have a feminine touch like the ruffle long sleeves, jeweled buttons, or anything with a bow on it. Or has glitter.

The Trendy Tot of the week is the adorable miss Caprilee from "You, Me, and Capri" Don't you just love that hoodie on her?

As a long time allergy sufferer, this fall transition has been no different for me than previous years. Sore throats in the morning, itchy eyes, and worst of all a runny and sneezing nose. I hate that part. I thought you were supposed to grow out of allergies like these as you age, what happened?
