What I like most about the lob is that it gives you the opportunity to cut your hair without it being too short and it still can be put up in a ponytail. For me, I consider it the best of both worlds. I adore short hair, I had it all through high school and really miss it sometimes, but short hair can be such a pain. You have to do it everyday and it can take longer to style than long hair. Right now I wash my hair 1-2 times a week and curl it only every 3 days and I don't know if I could keep that up with short hair. With a lob, I can. Here are my favorite cuts on celebrities.
I love that you have so much versatility with this cut. It looks great curled, messy, straight, and it's long enough to put up. I know I sound like a broken record, but maybe it's because I'm trying to talk myself into cutting off the few inches of length I have. Maybe I'll just get my hair colored and trimmed, but not cut. Who knows.
If I could walk out with any hair I wanted, it would have to be Blake's. She has the most beautiful hair in all the land. The color, the length, the messy curls, I die. Her hair always looks good, I've never seen it look bad. Ever. It's like it was weaved from threads of gold by Rumpelstiltskin. Her hair color is perfection, I want to get as close to her color as possible.
What's your favorite cut? Do you have a signature style? What celebrity's hair do you covet?

I am seriously considering going a lot shorter, too! Ever since I had to deal with postpartum hair loss (it started when K was about 3 months old and slowed down about 15 months pp), my hair has not been the same. Not to mention I haven't been to the salon since January! So I'm in pretty bad shape at the moment. LOL! I am hoping going a little shorter will help with fullness at my ends. I love the long bob -- so much you can do with it. Can't wait to see the new 'do!
I love short hair, bob or lob! I am currently resisting the urge to cut my hair. With my wedding a little over a year away, I know I want it longer. However it is hard to get past that awkward between styles phase.
I'm actually kind of obsessed with the white hair I see so many people getting these days. I'm sooo tempted to try it, but with my near black hair, all my hair would probably fall out before it got bleached enough to take the white dye. As soon as my sister's wedding is over this September, I think I'm going to go for a pixie. IF I'm brave enough.
I too love to go to the salon! Such a good feeling to come out looking all new and fresh. I also like to sit and watch the magic happen while my hair is processing. I have no hair skills and it's so cool to watch what the stylists can do for their clients. Total magicians. Thank goodness I have naturally curly hair - it's pretty easy to manage. I hope you will post pics after your appointment!

Great inspiration photos. I thought about going shorter too but it is more work. Part of me wants a change though.
I also LOVE Blake's hair! Beautiful! I think you would look great with a "lob" :) I still can't bring myself to cut my hair. I love long hair and it is so EASY.
I took the plunge and did the lob and I haven't looked back! Love all the inspiration!
I just took the plunge and cut off my long blonde locks. Right now I don't regret it. I'm having a lot of fun with it. And since I'm a mama too I LOVE that I can still pull it up quick. And your hair crush is the same as mine! I would want Blakes hair or Lauren Conrad.
I want to chop all of my hair off so bad... but i mean like chin length... i just got my hair down to my bra line in the back. i swear i've been growing it for like 3 years. but my hair is very fine. so it looks much better when its short. i'm jus so over long hair right now. but i'm also terrified!!! i have an appointment saturday... hopefully i have the guts to go through with it.
