Friday Faves

Today is another mix of favorites, do you guys prefer a theme or just whatever? I've done themes in the past and I do like that it's cohesive, but sometimes a series of products won't line up with what I want to share. If you prefer themes though, I can definitely make it happen! I have a ton of beauty buys that just came in (did you see my IG story?? Yesterday was a good mail day!!) that I'll be reviewing soon!

Recent OOTDs + Recent Purchases

Here are a few outfits I've posted on Instagram that never made it to the blog until today! Getting dressed this pregnancy has probably been the easiest so far, but I can't wait to wear whatever I want. bout half and half of my clothes right now are maternity vs non-maternity and I should be able to wear almost all of them postpartum. Thank you loose fit!

Friday Faves

Friday!! My favorite day of the work week is finally here!! Last weekend was so busy and flew right by and I've been looking forward to this weekend all week long. We just have a few plans, but I mostly plan on staying home and hanging with my littles. Swim, dance, cleaning, purging, relaxing, and lots of ice cream are on my to-do list.

This week's Friday Faves is a little bit of everything and I'm super excited about each one. I love sharing these posts with you guys. It's been a great way to share different items and shops I've found. I try and do them every week, but if I don't have enough things for a post, I just put what I love on the list for the next post. Everything I share here is always items I truly, and honestly use and enjoy, whether they're items I've bought on my own or were gifted to me for consideration. If it's not something I love, I'm either going to give it an honest review letting you know to skip it altogether, or I simply won't share it. You can always know that my posts are a 100% reflection of my true feelings.   So let's get started!

Wishlist Wednesday: Easy Gifts Under $25

 photo 25 Blend_zpsxvm9lkun.jpg

I've been all over the internet on the hunt for some gift ideas for my sisters and thought I'd gather some ideas for anyone else looking for something great for a good price!  I saw these items online and thought they'd make perfect gifts.

Makeup: Everyone can use some primer and setting goodies to help their makeup last through the holidays. I've been OBSESSED with my LORAC palettes and this one is a steal with some truly gorgeous shades that are perfect for every day. It's a small case so it would fit nice in a makeup bag. The Melted lipsticks have been on my radar for a long time- I think it's time to test run them!

Accessories: I love the basics! Simple pieces you can wear daily, you can't go wrong with studs. I love the vintage styling on the sides of these ones! The bangle is gorgeous and would pair perfectly with a watch and mixed with other metals and bracelets. The headband is beautiful and would really make a statement with a simple hair style for the holiday parties!

What do you like to gift and get?

A Week of OOTDs

I've been trying really hard to take pics of what I'm wearing lately, not that it's amazing, but I love seeing what other women wear and how they style and restyle their wardrobes and pieces. I'm going back to work this week and will be posting more office outfits (lighting/timing permitting in the mornings). I'm absolutely dreading going back to work and leaving my babies. I'm also terrified about getting ready and out the door on time. It can be so hard getting ready and out of the house in a decent amount of time. Mostly because I'm usually getting ready while they're awake and between bouncing Emma and keeping Ellie's hands off my mascara can be quite the time suck. I'm just going to wake up at the crack of dawn and wish for the best.

Top (Old Navy, old) // Skirt (Target, old, similar here and here)

Another Sunday we made it to church! I've been dying to wear this combo together, but the top is maternity and the skirt is not so I had to wait my whole pregnancy to pair them together. I initially had bought the non-maternity version of this shirt, but I was recently pregnant when I bought it, and I liked the longer hem better on the maternity version. I'll definitely be wearing this post-partum...like all the time.

This last weekend we went out to a family party and it was the perfect event for this outfit. I had this outfit planned out in my head for a few weeks, but it's been too hot here in CA to wear pants. It's finally started to cool down at nights and I wore this outfit first thing!

Tunic // Jeans // Ring // Necklace (with this charm and this charm added on)

This tunic is so easy to wear!! I've worn it twice so far and I love just putting it on and heading out the door. The fabric is pretty thick and will be great with leggings and boots when the temps drop.

Top // Leggings (Target) // Necklace (HM, old, similar here)

On a shopping trip with my girlfriend last week, I picked up this top at Old Navy for $8! It's crazy soft and super comfortable and warm. I wore this outfit for trick or treating, it has a hi low hem and completely covers the bum in the back. I was really surprised with how warm it was, I didn't expect it to be since the fabric is thin. It's perfect for layering and I look forward to wearing it again!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Have a great week!

Lust List

 photo Lust List Blend_zpsbp0cecy5.jpg

Spring is the worst season on my wallet, I swear. There's so many things I want and I feel like a child in a candy store. Ooh shiny! Ooh pink! Ooh nude! Ooh shimmer! It's ridiculous and since my wallet isn't as fat as it used to be in the "let's spend all of my money and pick up an extra shift this weekend because my bills and responsibilities are little" category I had in college, so I made a fun collage instead. Also, my birthday is coming up so hubs, if you read the blog, just click the links, add to cart, and check out. Please and thank you.

Sunnies- I love my cheapie cat eye sunglasses from Nordies, but I love these pink aviators, although I have no idea if they would work with my face shape.

Purse- I've had my eye on a few cross body bags (Michael Kors and Kate Spade) and I think this is the perfect size and shape. I love the chain detail and although I really would love a fun color, I think nude is best to get the most wear out of it. I was checking out their aquamarine, but my sister has a MK purse in that color and rarely uses and we both think it's more of a "summer only" type color.

Nikes- So I never work out, but I really need a new pair of tennis shoes. Do people still call it that? Anyways, my only want for work out shoes is a fun bright color (by "work out" I mean to wear with yoga pants that have never been to a yoga class).

Sandals- This season I really want a pair of dressier gladiator/strappy sandals. I've seen cute ones online for under $50 at Old Navy and Target, but they sell out so quickly. I'm looking for a pair like these that have a small wedge and would look great all summer with shorts and dresses and go perfectly with a cuffed pair of skinnies in the fall.

Earrings- Aren't these Derng earrings gorgeous?! I love the color and the mixed metals. I would definitely wear these all the time.

Blush- This MAC Dame blush has been on my radar for a while (I featured it in my Spring Beauty post) and since I found out my beloved Pink Swoon has been discontinued, I want this blush real bad. Like Elle's sidekick in Legally Blonde wanted a hot dog, that bad.

Ring- This ring has been in my cart from Stella and Dot since forever. Why haven't I bought? No clue. It reminds me of Olivia Pope's ring in Scandal (they're not really that similar, but it reminds me of it nonetheless) and I just love it. It's simple, chic, and right up my alley.

Wallet- I need a new wallet so badly. I'm so crazy picky about one that I've been using a small Coach coin purse/wristlet for much longer than I care to admit. Although, I do like that it's small enough to fit in my clutches and has a wristlet to whip out on a quick errand, I need a big girl wallet like yesterday. This bright yellow one makes me happy and I thought it would be a great way to get organized.

What items are you lusting over this season? Which season do you love to shop the most? Are you an add to wishlist/cart and never check out girl like me? Spill the beans ladies!

OOTD: Skirting the Issue

 photo 2A71FE2A-430B-4CC8-A109-ECEDAB590B53_zpsdpfwv0ah.jpg photo F5BE6518-B6EB-4042-B25D-D260B269C5F2_zps6e4hhfe9.jpg photo 7E2FC1B2-84FF-4658-BBE0-8CC54549ADEE_zpsww0dq8mp.jpg photo E97D58AB-DAED-47A6-AED5-21D8086BD07B_zpsfo8ucfrl.jpg photo 40BA48BB-7EC2-4AD2-BD5F-2EC37D060870_zpserap1lyq.jpg
SKIRT: Forever 21 (old, similar here) TOP: Old Navy (old, similar here) Cardigan: Old Navy
PUMPS: DSW (old, similar here and here) NECKLACE: Stella and Dot

Skirts are one of my favorite pieces to wear for work, I've worn three just this last week. I don't think women wear skirts that often in the work place. In my last two positions, most of the women I've worked with almost always wore pants. Even though our dress was casual and we wore jeans daily, we would have days or meetings that we would have to dress up for and I always chose a dress or skirt, but would be the only one! What do you prefer to wear?

This weekend I was reviewing my closet to see what items I wanted to be on the look out for to add to my wardrobe and I definitely need to get some more dresses, but it's so hard to find ones that are long enough or have a sleeve (so I don't have to wear a cardigan). I think I need to step out of my comfort zone for stores and shop at new places. On a side note, I've had these heels for years and there one of my favorites. They are so comfortable, I wish I had bought them in every color!

Hope you guys are having a great week!
