Recent Purchases: Fashion, Beauty, and Home

With fall basically here, even if it's still in the 100s, I've been on a little bit of a shopping spree getting some new post bump duds. There's so many great things out right now, I want one of everything! Sometimes, the start of a season can be slow fashion-wise, but I love everything that's out right now and have a hard time not adding it all to my shopping cart.

Spring is my favorite season and sometimes, I look forward to fall just for a change of routine, but it is by far not my favorite season. This year? It can't come soon enough!! For one, I'll have a sweet new baby in my arms and two, the high temps are killing me! I can't wait for 70s weather.

So, like I said, I've been on a bit of a spree and wanted to share with you all the great things I've found, almost all under $50 (the booties are under $100!) that you NEED for fall too!

One of the biggest trends this year is your hemlines and I love the step hem look! Plus, these jeans are so soft and comfortable! They're thin, stretchy, and you can basically just live in them all season. I bought them in my regular size and they fit like a glove (other than I can't button them) and when Ellie saw them, she said "Mommy, I think you should wait until your belly pops and baby brother is here to wear them". Thanks E!

I love this saying! This sweater is so cute and when I saw it in store I knew I had to have it. A cute graphic sweater is so easy to throw on and go! I picture my outfit with this sweater, my step hem jeans, and some leopard mules. Easy and comfy- done! I also like this Love Wins version too!

Olive Joggers (similar here)

I'm pretty sure I'll be living in these this fall, they're so cute and comfy. While being off work for maternity leave, adjusting to a new routine and a sweet new addition, I'm all about comfort and have been buying pieces that are easy to wear. I love the casual look of joggers, a basic tee, and a jean jacket.

I've been on the hunt for a good peep toe bootie for what feels like forever. I found a cute pair during the NSale, but all the reviews said they were so uncomfortable and terrible to break in so I passed on them. These shoes have all 5 star ratings and every review talked about how comfortable they are and how they could wear them all day long. SOLD.

I've been on the hunt for a good jean jacket for the last year or so and just could never find one that fit just right, was the right wash, etc. When I saw this jacket, I added to cart immediately! I've been able to wear it once already (see the OOTD post here) and can't wait to wear it all.the.time.

How cute is this little toddler dress? It looks just okay on the hangar, but gosh darn it's so cute on!! I saw it on the model online and picked it up for Ellie. When I showed her, she thought it was ok and when she put it on she didn't want to take it off. It's so simple and cute and will look adorable with the right bow and shoes!

Gah! I'm dying over this precious sweater and wishing it came in my size! It's so freaking cute and I can't wait to see it on Ellie! I bought these leggings for her and can't wait to see it with little booties. It's so versatile too and would go with so many items she already has. Why did I not get one for Emma??? Looks like I'm adding to cart again.

I love a great pair of sunglasses, but try to only buy one expensive pair every year or so and get by on cheapies the rest of the time, especially for trendier ones. I've been wearing these non-stop and for under $15, I couldn't pass them up!

Over the years, I've bought a few items from Derng and loved every piece- especially these gorgeous studs, and I was so excited to get these cute goodies in the mail from them. Thank you so much! I absolutely love both pieces, the necklace is so versatile and I recently wore it with my olive utility jacket and I know I'll be wearing it a ton this fall. How adorable are these earrings? I love all things colored and tasseled this year and these are no exception! I wore them with a navy blue dress to a baby shower and they couldn't have been more perfect to celebrate our little man.

The Starfish Project is one that really touches my heart. When I opened these pretties up and read the cards with each woman's story, tears filled my eyes. The Starfish Project  helps women from Asia who have escaped human trafficking. It gives them hope, education, healthcare, shelter, counseling, and more for them AND their children. How amazing is that? They're giving women hope and opportunities to better their lives and their family's future. If you're looking for a special piece for an event or an every day item, please go check them out. All of their jewelry is so gorgeous and helps another woman better her life!

My girlfriend told me about this conditioner and how it's from Lauren Conrad's hair stylist's line, and what did I do? Went out immediately and bought it. Affordable hair care? Easy to pick up at my fave place? Done. Say no more. I've been using it for the last month and really like it, my hair feels super soft and not weighed down.

You will never in a million year guess where I found this super cheap (under $10) letter board.....Wal-Mart!! I love it's size and the white frame and for the price, I'm surprised I didn't buy them all as Christmas gifts!!

I told you I've been on a bit of a shopping spree! This isn't even everything, I just got a huge mail day and didn't have time to photograph it before this post. Honestly though, I couldn't do this without my #LipsSoHard business. It's been such a great addition to my life and I love having the extra money and it's been so fun!! Our team is #2 in the ENTIRE company and I can't even tell you all the doors it's opened for me. If you're interested in checking out the company, feel free to email or message me- I'm an open book. Also, I'm having a HUGE sale today through Wednesday so it's the perfect time to try Lipsense for yourself!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you all had an amazing Labor Day weekend!!
