BEST Wedding Favor

Generally I feel that wedding favors should only be given if it's edible (thank you for the color coordinated Jelly Belly Beans) or can be used on the spot like a change of flip flops or a fan to use at your outdoor wedding in the middle of August (ahem).

In fact, if there wasn't a favor at a wedding, I probably wouldn't even notice. At weddings I've seen drink coasters, bookmarks, shot glasses, which have all been great and fit each couple wonderfully, but this my friends is one of my favorite ideas, plus I know MANY of you collect the darn things!

Granted some of you may want to change that "beer" into a soda depending on your wedding guests, but I thought this idea was so fun and different than the usual favors. The Fiance and I are lucky and blessed that his sister K and her husband M have offered to handle our favors for us and they are going to be the best! I'm so excited for them and knew right away what I wanted to have as a favor for our wedding that's perfect for us as a couple and has some meaning. What is it? You'll find out after May! Sneaky sneaky

What favors have you seen? Anything unusual or amazing?

here in the South, koozies are EVERYONE'S wedding favor. i didn't realize that they weren't as popular everywhere else. interesting!
that's what we did. we put them in a tin bucket beside the small dinghy that was filled with ice and beer! i designed the image on ours too so i love that no one else will ever have one like it!
they are great favors and we have a ton from other weddings. i love the idea.

we did scratch off lotto tickets in clear envelopes with a sticker that said Lucky in Love AJ& Mindi 8/16/08 (we did crazy eight scratch offs... ) a ton of people won at least 2 bucks one of his cousins even won 88 bucks :) everyone seemed to like them. I agree on the food except for when you have an outdoor reception in the summer.. nothing stays fresh or free from bugs :) hth :)

That is such a great idea! I definitely collect coasters and have been known to pull them out at the bar!

I've only been to 1 wedding where those were the favors. It fit the couple perfectly they would go to the river all the time.
Our favors were little boxes filled with gummy bears (mine & the hubbys favorite candy).

koozie's are the best. I dont think I have been to a wedding in the past 5 years that didnt have koozies. people even make koozies for engagment parties. but come to think of it, people make koozies for EVERYTHING.
maybe its just a southern thing but we LOVE our koozies. you can never have enough.
my mom calls them huggies and that makes me laugh.

:o) We gave these out to our bridal party! They were a hit! ...I gave my BP goodie bags... Girls got a holder, plus a key chain, and a coffe cup with their initials. Boys got the beer holder and the key chain, but they got a glass stein with their initials... :) All the bags had candy in them as a bonus.

These are really cute! I can't wait to see your favors. We did candy apples from a local orchard. I felt good about it since we had a fall theme and because we went with a place local to us that we both love to visit.

my husband and i gave a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis foundation in honor of his two sisters who passed away from the disease years ago. I think it made it seem like they were still apart of our special day

Wedding venues in Las Vegas truly helped me a lot in making my wedding special and memorable one to everyone. They served amazing services and decoration was just WOw! Every thing was perfect on that day.
