Hot Man Parade, David Beckham Tribute

I know all you lovelies adore David Beckham, I mean how could you not? He has an incredible body, an amazing family, good looks, and lucscious locks. My first tribute post to him is my #1 most visited post (crazy huh?) so I thought it was the right thing to do by doing a second tribute post to him (check out the first post here). You're welcome and happy Friday!!

Swoon

As if I needed ANOTHER reason to like LOVE Anne Hathaway or Jake Gyllenhaal. She seriously has such a great job!! Can you imagine going into work and being told you have to get naked with Jake? I'd have my clothes off before they finished the sentence!! Did any of you catch his interview with Lettrman last night? Watch it here if you missed it. He's such a doll! Anne Hathaway is on tonight with Jimmy Fallon, I can't wait to watch!

Resolutions, October Update

Aagh only two more months left in the year!! I seriously can't believe how fast this year has been going!! I've made some great advances in my resolutions and I can't wait to share them with you!

As always, I'm sure many of you, myself included, have given up, started new resolutions, etc. Luckily, the year is almost over so we get to start over soon!
Here is my progress for October:

1. Write in my journal- No change from previous months. This resolution has died, may it rest in peace.

2. This is my year of savings- I'm continuing to save for the wedding, but still trying to put a little something away for my personal savings. I need to be saving some more though and will have to show some restraint over the holidays. It always feel as though no matter what you make, it's never enough. I need to really budget myself and I'm doing fine as I am now, but there's always room for improvement.

3. Lose body fat before wedding date- I've worked out a few times this month and ate pretty healthy, and I LOST 5LBS!! Woohoo!! I'm still nowhere near where I want to be so I have hired a trainer! I figure I can use a trainer once a week and then when I get to where I want to be I can cut back to just maintain until the wedding/honeymoon. I debated back and forth for a long time about getting a trainer and I think it will be what I need to A) actually go to the gym and not slack while I'm there B) get results C) keep me motivated and D) learn what I actually need to do to change according to my body type. I'm pretty excited about this new adventure! Anyone out there used a trainer before? What's your opinion? I've also made small changes like cutting out beer and changing from whole milk to 1%. I was pretty nervous about switching, but 1% is delicious!

4. Learn to cook- This month I made Cider from Leah's recipe of The Way We Are, check out her post here about it. It was a huge hit and I will be brewing it up for Thanksgiving and possibly Christmas.  Last week my cousin also taught me how to make sushi and since the Fiance and I love sushi, I think I'll have to make it for him.

5. To be more personal on this blog- I'm having a lot more fun with my blog now that I'm more personal on it and I think that it's really grown. For any future posts, is there anything you'd like to see more of? Less of? Anything you'd like to know about me?

So, how have you ladies been doing with your resolutions? Have you changed or modified any of them? Do you have any resolutions for the new Fall season? I think I'm going to do next year's resolutions slightly different and will let you all know how it will be next month!

People's Sexiest Man Alive

People's Sexiest Man Alive list is one of my favorites!! If you can't tell from my Friday Hot Man Parades, I love a good piece of eye candy. Who is the #1 guess this year??? None other than the hottie Ryan Reynolds.

How do you feel about the #1? I often forget about handsome Ryan, but as soon as I see a pic of him or watch one of his movies I remember how charming he comes across. I know my #1 would be Jake Gyllenhaal, he's my top 5 of Hollywood crushes. Check out their complete list here.

Celeb Inspiration: Anne Hathaway

I love Anne Hathaway. Plain and simple. She gorgeous, grounded, makes great films, and is stunning on the red carpet. I truly admire her versatile talent and have loved all the interviews I've read of hers. As her career grows, my fondness of her does too. Even though in her interview with InStyle magazine she claimed "I think I’ve got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head, but, you know, I’m not going to beat myself up… I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important," I find her a classic beauty and enjoy the fact that she looks different from other Hollywood beauties. I'll just be honest, Anne Hathaway can do NO WRONG in my eyes. In fact, if she wasn't a huge celebrity and we lived close to each other, I bet we would be the best of friends. I would also like to note that it was painful editing out some of the pictures since I think she always looks beautiful. You'll be able to see where I was able to restrain myself and where I just went mildly wild.

Jewel Tones: With fair skin and dark hair, Anne knows that a jewel toned frock will help her really shine.

Tights: Anne shows us the importance warmth with the use of tights in the winter time and how chic they can make any outfit.

Black and White: You can't go wrong with basic colors like black or white. Miss Hathaway nevers lets them be boring though and continually WOWs us on the red carpet.

Red Carpet: Anne Hathaway really is a princess, check out her STUNNING gowns she's worn. She's always feminine and elegant.

Casual: I've read that Anne likes to keep her casual style just that- casual! And that she also likes her casual style to be a bit tomboyish since she's always so done up for the red carpet.

So beauties, what's your thoughts on the lovely Miss Anne? Do you love her as much as I do?
