OOTD + New Baubles

Target Tank
Mossimo Neon Shorts
Coach Wristlet (I put the chain from my H&M purse on it)
Nails: Sinful Colors 24/7
Nordstrom Sunnies
Aqua Necklace Glam Grab Accessory

So I ordered this necklace from their Facebook auction on Sunday, paid for it Monday morning, and it was on my doorstep by Wednesday! I couldn't believe how awesome the service was! The only thing I hate about ordering items online is waiting to get the items. It's so frustrating playing the waiting game, especially when you can't wait to wear your new goodies. I love this necklace as well. I have an identical necklace in orange that I've had for years, but it can get really heavy, this necklace is so lightweight I can wear it all day and night. It's so fun and easy to add to any outfit. Check out their Facebook page because they have the cutest accessories ever and all at awesome price points.

Have you tried Facebook auctions yet? I was kind of freaked out to try a shop like this, but had to have this necklace. This was my first time shopping like this and I couldn't be happier with the service. I'm definitely going to be buying from them again. And again.

**FTC: This is not a sponsored post, I bought the necklace on my own with my own money. I just love finding awesome places to shop to get unique pieces at great prices and had to share with everyone how awesome Glam Grab Accessory's is!

Easy Recipe: Fish Tacos + Veggies

I almost want to say "I'm on a roll with cooking", but really, let's not push it. Last week I was in Trader Joe's and they had some delicious fish taco samples. I'm not usually a big fish taco person, although I love seafood. These were just so amazing, I had to re-create them!

Now, you can make these with a variety of brands and condiments, but I literally just bought everything they used at Trader Joes. Easy enough right?

Here is the display of products they used at the sample counter:
-Oven Ready Breaded Cod Fillets
-Shredded Green Cabbage
-Pico de Gallo
-Corn Tortillas
-Tartar Sauce with Jalapeno (you could also use their Creamy Cilantro dressing)
- Four Cheese Mexican Blend Cheese

Cook the fillets, warm up the tortillas, and top with your goodies! Guacamole and a squeeze of lime would also be delicious! For the tartar sauce, I thinned it out with some half and half which also tones down the jalapeno spice.

I served the tacos with asparagus and zucchini, both topped with olive oil and garlic salt and baked for 30 minutes. I also added shredded parmesan cheese on the asparagus and cayenne pepper on the zucchini. It's best to put the veggies in first because the fillets only take 20 minutes.

We're totally making these tacos over and over again! They were so super easy and the family ate them right up! I'm so happy I tried something new and found a completely amazing and easy meal!

OOTD: Polka Dots

Old Navy Boat Neck Sweater (buy here)
Mossimo Skirt
Guess Sandals

After seeing this top on the gorgeous Mandy from In the Fashion Lane, I just had to have it. I called three Old Navy's before finding my color/size! It was so worth it. Now I want to pick up the sweater in every color. It's light weight, fits and hugs perfectly, and will be easy to transition into all the seasons.I'm also glad I finally styled this skirt differently. I've had it a few months and always revert to wearing it the same way each time. Please ignore my gross hair in the pics, these were taken at the end of the day and I'm getting my hair done tonight (just a touch up and cut). And because I know someone will ask in a comment, no that is not a baby bump but a food baby. Or fat. Whatever you like to call it- tomato tomato.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Happy Monday!

Instagram Hair + Beauty

1. Trying to switch up everyday looks with some extra braid details. Tease crown area, take a 1.5in section of hair and loosely braid, loosen it up by pulling the sides. Then gather all hair back and clasp in a barrette.
2. Curls made by wrapping my hair around a 1in barrel without using the clamp. I'm trying to get the hang of it, I love the look on long hair.  It's getting easier, but I'm no pro yet.
3. Trying the Pocahontas look. I like it.

1. Sinful Colors Easy Going- my new fave nude. It's very creamy with no streaks, this is only two coats!
2. Sinful Colors Easy going paired with Sally Hansen Strobe Light, inspired by this nail post. I used a small post it note to get a straight line. I've looked all over trying to find sticker nail guides, but all I can find is curved ones for french tips.
3. Sinful Colors Glass Pink paired with Sinful Colors 24/7

I'm not kidding you when I say that Revlon makes the BEST lipsticks ever! This is my most recent crush- Tempress (on IG I was mistaken and said it was Primrose- a MAC Snob dupe, also very pretty). It's an Editor's Pick, the perfect soft pink with a little punch and great for everyday wear.
