You can read the article at CNN, but in case you haven't heard, a man killed four people (as well as himself) and injured another 15 when he open fired at a LA Fitness (Thank goodness I'm a member at 24) during a Latin Dance Class. Seriously though, my condolences to the family and friends.

An Open Letter to Celebrities
Dear Celebrities,
Your life is wonderful. You have fame, money, you get to go to amazing places and parties. Plus you get a lot of free stuff.
I understand that you have no private life and that you’re followed and photographed everywhere you go. Taking this into account…DO NOT TAKE NAKED PHOTOS OF YOURSELF! Do not video tape yourself and another in compromising situations and please realize that any photo that you have could be “leaked” and everyone in the world will be able to see what you look like naked, what sexual positions you favor, and whether or not you have been surgically “enhanced”. This has happened to several stars- Tommy Lee & Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, Vanessa Hudgens (twice now, new pics came out today), Kim Kardashian (in this particular case, this is the ONLY reason she’s even famous), Adrian Ballon, so learn from their mistakes and not make your own. They have all said how embarrassed they are about the private photos/videos and some have sued, but none of this would ever have happened if you never took the footage in the beginning. This advice is free, I won’t even charge.

Two Things I Have An Unhealthy Obsession With
I buy it at Trader Joe's (it comes in a clear box in the frozen food section) and always have a box tucked away in my nightstand. However, this week I bought one for my office as well. My obsession with this licorice is horrible, I can never have just one (or four) pieces. It's just so soft and delicious. I once went to 3 Trader Joe's in a desperate search to restock.
My favorite flavor is Mango Tangerine, I can eat almost the entire pint by myself. I love this little taste of paradise so much, I even wrote a letter (email) to the company expressing my satisfaction with the product (hopefully, I will receive a lifetime supply). It tastes as if you are biting into a freshly picked, perfectly ripe Mango. Oooooh, it's utterly gratifying.

For Vampire Lovers Everywhere
Two of the most popular shows right now (True Blood and Twilight Sagas in case you live under a rock) have really neat paraphernalia available!
First, True Blood's creators have made the vampire drink Tru Blood temporarily real!! No, it is not real blood, it is a carbonated blood orange soda you can buy in a 4 pack for $16 at truebeverage.com and according to the website, the soda is "All Flavor, No Bite"
I just caught up with the season last night and can't wait to see more of Godric and what will happen with MaryAnn. I've also decided the following:
1. This season is WAY better than last season, it has more of a storyline and is not just borderline porn.
2. Jason and Terry are still my favorite characters
3. Sarah Newlin looks like a cheerleader and I'm obsessed with her hair
4. Don't watch the show right before bed because you will have the most weird dreams ever
Don't miss this season's finale on September 18th!
As for Twilight (insert drum roll here), Jules Smith Jewelry designer Gina Nigrelli was inspired by New Moon and has created a new collection for the saga. The collection includes Bella's Good Luck Charm Bracelet ($20) and Jacob's Nemesis bracelet ($45)- this one is my personal favorite. Told to InStyle, Nigrelli said "Once I began reading the Twilight series, I quickly became engulfed in the love triangle and the mystical fantasy of the storyline. My obsession for vampires translated into a design inspiration. I wanted to share my devotion to these characters with my fans and there's no better way to celebrate Edward Cullen than with a New Moon collection featuring alluring fangs."
