Vegas: What I'm Packing

This weekend marks our 5th wedding anniversary and to celebrate, Matt and I are headed to Vegas! I'm so excited to get away and some time to ourselves. We rarely get any time for ourselves and when we do, it's always with an agenda. We have no plans and no schedule for the weekend and I can't wait! All we have on our to-do list is eat, sleep, and lounge by the pool. It's supposed to be cooler temps with possible rain so I'm not sure if we'll get too much time at the pool, but I'll be ready!

For the last week, I've been planning my outfits and what to pack and I finally had a chance to lay everything out to see how it would look together and make sure I don't forget anything. It's not a new concept by any means, but I like to lay everything out and see how I can make the most of what I want to pack. Can I mix and match them? Is there something I can leave home to keep a lighter bag? I always pack a few extra outfits or pieces like jeans or a cardigan and there's still one outfit I need to try on to see how they look together in real life, but I think I'm all set otherwise!

Sweater (old, similar here) // Soft Shorts // Sandals (love these too!) // Purse // Necklace

I've tried these shorts on so many times at Target and I've always loved them because they're so soft, but just never bought them. They're on sale for $15 and I thought they'd be perfect for walking the strip or driving home. My SIL gifted me this gorgeous blue handbag from my Spring Wishlist for my birthday and I can't wait to use it this weekend! There's a ton of pockets and the color is perfection!

Tank // Shorts (Old Navy last year, similar here) // Purse // Necklace

I'll probably wear this outfit on the way there. This peplum tank has been on repeat a lot lately (I have it in white too), it's so easy to just throw on and head out the door. I bought these shorts last year when I was pregnant and they're so comfortable. They have pockets too! I wish I bought every pair last year, luckily a lot of shops have similar styles in this year so I can add some more to my closet.

Sunnies // Kimono (Forever 21 last year, similar here) // Top // Bottom

I'm really hoping and praying that there's good weather this weekend, because all I want to do is lounge around the pool and the hotel's lazy river. What's a vacation without a pool day?

Pants // Top (similar here) // Necklace

If you follow me on Instagram, you've already seen this outfit- I wore it on Sunday to celebrate my birthday with a family BBQ. I'm obsessed with these pants and necklace! Palazzo pants are so cozy and soft to wear and they're great in the summer since they're so lightweight. The necklace is amazing, I won it from Brittany's IG giveaway and I love it! It pairs so perfect with the pants and my blue crossbody above, I always get so many compliments on it! It's a great statement piece for sure.

Top // Shorts // Sandals (love these too!) // Lipstick (Coral Crush)

I'm still loving this outfit! It's definitely a go-to for me. I plan on wearing this for walking the strip and shopping during the day. I picked up this fun bright coral and haven't really had the chance to wear it, but I hope to bust it out this weekend.

Top (similar here) // Jeans // Purse // Lipstick (Long Legged & Fabulous) // Shoes

I've been saving this look for a date night (see it on in this post) and we plan on doing a nice dinner one night and this is what I'm gonna wear. I LOVE the lace detailing on this top and flutter sleeves. It's so feminine and chic. I ordered a dress too last week and if it arrives in time, I'm going to pack that too as an alternative or second nice meal outfit.

Only three more sleeps until our trip! Can you tell I'm excited? I haven't been to Vegas in so long and I used to go all the time to party back in college. It's definitely going to be a different trip this time and I've never gone just Matt and I. I'm really looking forward for us to reconnect and get some adult time and recharge together.

What are your favorite Vegas shows and restaurants? He wanted to surprise me with Britney tickets, but she just had her last show last weekend! We want to check out a show while we're there, what do you suggest?

People StyleWatch and InStyle Inspirations

“This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and People StyleWatch and InStyle magazines but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #PeopleInStyle http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO

 photo 55B8C424-DC9B-4E5C-A2BC-65575850CE0B_zpseapam0yx.jpg

Whoop whoop! I am so excited right now. Two of my favorite magazines have just come out with their December issues AND at Target, if you buy both People StyleWatch and InStyle magazine you get a $5 Target gift card! I have subscribed to both magazines over the years and have bought both forever. The September issues are of course one of my favorites, but dare I say, I think I love the holiday editions more. All of the holiday fashion, glam, and gift guides really suck me in.

 photo E9C9AAFF-F7C3-4F7F-A517-0A7495276BF8_zps8rbkcz51.jpg
This weekend after picking them up, I experienced my first Christmas miracle: time to myself! Everyone was asleep and I somehow still had energy to stay up and relax. It was glorious! What's more perfect than a lit tree, your favorite magazines and snack, and your baby monitor showing your sleeping beauty. I reveled every minute of it.

 photo PSWISBlend_zpsb86e3268.jpg
People StyleWatch has a feature in their December issue highlighting wearing skirts over the holiday and I couldn't agree more! Skirts are perfect for any party, can be worn with tights for extra warmth, and you can go sexy, flirty, or edgy with them. My closet doesn't have that many flirty skirts (mostly pencils) so I immediately started looking online and fell in love with this pretty one. Here is an outfit that was inspired by that article and the skirt I found. For a night out, pair a textured skirt with an embellished top, add some glam earrings,  and metallic heels and you're ready!

In both People StyleWatch and InStyle had a lot of features for gorgeous accessories and beauty trends and since I've been on a jewelry kick since being pregnant, I had to put together some of my favorite looks inspired by the issues.

 photo PSWIS2Blend_zpsed856e43.jpg
I think with any season, the extras are what make your outfit. They're a great way to jazz up what you already have in your closet, dip your foot into a new trend, and can be very budget friendly.  Jeweled headbands or pins can be worn so easily with your hair up or down. InStyle featured a deep-berry mouth and this Black Cherry shade is gorgeous! I'm on the hunt for that lipstick and have been to two Targets that have been sold out! Jeweled necklaces really are a neutral for me now and are so much easier to wear than I initially thought. Glitter polish is an absolute must for the holidays, and a staple for me.

This year, I really want to do more with my hair, I feel like I'm always wearing it the same way (down and curled) and want to really branch out in putting it up more. The darker lip is another trend I'm dying to try. I've been hunting up and down the beauty aisles trying to find the perfect pucker color. Any suggestions or favorites of yours?

What are you looking to wear over the holiday season? What are your favorite trends right now?

Springing into Spring

 photo SpringWishlistBlend_zpse0a94774.jpg

I don't know why I do this to myself, but I've been looking online at all the super cute stuff I don't plan on buying because of the bump. This spring already is showing so many cute so many things and whenever I see something gorgeous, I just smile with all the money I'm saving. LOL- it's the only thing that keeps me from adding the item to the cart. Plus, little Baby L is due at the beginning of summer so I can def buy things after, there's just no point in buying anything now until I know how things will fit me. Plus, let's be real, I'll living this summer in yoga pants (that have never been to yoga).

Anyways, here's all the things I want you to buy so I can live through you. Of course, I may pick up the items that the bump make no difference, like shoes.
Umm, how hot is this? Doesn't it just scream Rihanna and Beyonce? I picture wearing this w a cream blouse, skinny jeans, and cute wedges with a bright bag....then I picture baby girl ripping it from my neck. So please, someone enjoy it!
It is so hard to find thin long-sleeved dresses, this is perfect year-round. Great with strappy flats in the summer, and an easy transition into fall with boots and tights.

I'm in love with this shade! It's so fun and the perfect color to wear all summer long and into fall.

Again, the perfect spring dress! Super cute with flats and ideal dress for any BBQ.
Post-baby, I really don't know what type of a swimsuit I'll want to wear and feel comfortable in. I'm thinking I may just ditch bikinis altogether? This one-piece is perfect sexy and covers in all the right places. The gold hardware add some sass too.

I die. I love the simplicity of this wedge, but with some fun the braid adds.

For some time, I've been looking for a two-tone watch and think this may be the winner. It's sleek, simple, and chic. Great for everyday and matches everything.

How fun are these glasses? I love them!

I died when I saw these shoes. The cognac and black together make it ideal for any outfit. I love cognac and black mixed together, it's a timeless combination.

What do you have your eyes on this spring?

My Favorite Pink Items + Must-Reads

Question of the month from Kristen: Inspired by Valentine's Day...
What are your favorite Pink items?

This month's question is so fun! It was really hard to narrow down my pink items, and of course the majority of mine are nail polish. Go figure.  Pink is one of my favorite colors, but not a color I wear a lot in clothing. Lips, cheeks, nails I'm all over though! If I can get something in pink, I will- IPhone cover, toothbrush, etc. Here are some of my favorite pink things:

OPI In the Spotlight Now
Cotton Candy
(this is the one thing I never got from Santa growing up,
I asked for a cotton candy machine for like 10 years)
Starburst Fave Reds
Simply Raspberry Lemonade (can't get enough of this stuff!)

InstaLately Link Up 6

Photobucket
I finally found the VS eyeshadow I talked about last week in Undiscover! I've been using it on my eyes and then brushed it on the tops of my cheeks too.

Photobucket
Standard lunch in CA. You have to get extra spread though for your fries! For those of you who may not know, spread is like fry sauce (50/50 mayo + ketchup) with some relish. It's delish.
Photobucket
Groopdealz was featuring the infamous bubble necklaces. I like how they look, but they're so trendy I've avoided them, but for $10 I didn't want to pass them up. I was between yellow and blue and thought to buy both, but chose only one color. Then I picked one up for my sister too.
Photobucket
Proof I can bake from scratch! Hubs was really craving some banana nut bread and I made this all by myself without hazard. It was delicious too! The hubs' exact words were "amazing". Kudos to me!
Photobucket
I'm still in love with braids in your hair. I'm totally not over this trend and I hope it never goes away. I'm also wearing the VS shadow here on both my eyelids and cheeks.
Photobucket
This Savina gold polish is one of my favorites and an easy go-to for me. I topped my ring/thumb with the Sephora by OPI Gold glitter, but it wasn't really showing up like I thought it might so I put on some OPI Glitter to make it pop.
Photobucket
This weekend I met up with a good friend for lunch. It was so great to see her and spend hours catching up. I'm wearing Old Navy's quilted vest and I love it. I have a yellow one from college and have been wanting a black one for over a year. I haven't taken it off since it was delivered. It's so cozy!
259992_10151156479033845_1700101716_n
I ordered our Christmas cards this week and they arrived so fast! I really love the service and quality at Shutterfly. We buy our cards there every year. This year's card is super cute and I'm forcing myself to wait until December to mail them out. Last year, I had them sent out before Thanksgiving! LOL.
Photobucket
Pomegranates are one of my season's favorite fruits! My mom used to get them for my sister and I every year and we always had one in our stockings. I couldn't wait to dive into this beauty. It tasted like childhood.

My Wishlist: Want, Need, Read, and Wear

Once I saw Jenn of Perfectly Imperfect post her wishlist, I knew I had to jump on the bandwagon. I've been waiting for Christmas all year long! Like I've said in some previous post, I love the holidays, but usually don't get all willy nilly for them until they're closer. Not this year. I've been waiting for Christmas since August. I've been listening to Christmas music all year long (never deleted my Christmas music playlist from my Ipod), mentally keeping a want list of my own and writing down what others have said they wanted during the year, and lighting my pine tree candle. Well, it's almost here! It's so close, I can taste the egg nog!

So here we go, I'm also copying Jenn's list with four items in each category. I mean, why not give Santa some options right?

PhotobucketMonogram Necklace from monoArtian // Victoria Secret Gold Fragrance Mist
Ray-Ban Cat Eyes // Michael Kors Gold Watch

A house! // Sigma Brush Essential Kit
New chic glasses // MAC Studio Fix Powder

Recent Beauty Faves

Recently I've been trolling through my make up bag(s), and found some goodies I haven't used for a while. I've put them back into rotation and I can't believe they were ever forgotten about. Two of these items are newer so they were not forgotten, but I haven't put them down since I bought them so I'd thought I'd include them in my favorites.

Victoria Secret All Over Shimmer in Gold Star
I can't find it on their site, but I was just in their store over the weekend and still saw it there. For Halloween I wanted really bronzed and shimmery cheeks so I layered this over my bronzer. It's such a soft gold and looks gorgeous layered over anything. I've also layered it over my blush this past week. I use it a lot to highlight my brow bones and over my shadow. When I was in there store I fell in love with this eyeshadow duo in Undiscover, but they were out of stock. I'll have to go back and pick it up. I'll use it on my eyes and cheeks both. Let's be honest, I'm a sucker for anything shimmery, especially gold and shimmery.

MAC Blush in Easy Manner
This is from their Glamour Daze collection that I bought at their preview. It's now available in store and online. It's a gorgeous peachy pink blush with no shimmer that gives a soft flush. I'm really happy with that purchase, my other blushes are either very shimmery or a much brighter pink. It's nice to add something different in the mix.

MAC Cream Colour Base in Pearl
I've had this puppy for years and have always used it on and off. You can really use it wherever you want on your face. As a shadow base, highlighter, etc. Lately, I've been putting it on a bit heavier on places to highlight- cheekbones, brow bones, bridge of my nose, and then layering my powder over it. Kind of contouring my face a bit by using it first. I'll also use it on top of my makeup sometimes to, it really is very versatile.

Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo Spray
Remember I told you folks how I only wash my hair 2x a week? Well I also get up at 430am for work (my schedule is changing and I'll get to sleep in another hour!). This dry shampoo is a dream! I don't know how I went on about my life without it. It really gives a lot of body and good texture, not gross filmy texture.

MAC Tinted Lipglass in Florabundance
Even though I've been sporting bold lip lately, a great nude lip is always my favorite look. Nearly all my glosses are soft nudes and pinks. This one was a favorite of mine for a while, but then I kept buying more glosses and it somehow just got skipped over. I came across it and haven't put it down again. It's just enough color to use on it's own, but it's also great over other lipsticks (like MAC Hue).

Do you ever resurrect old beauty products? What have you been using lately or have found again?

Vlog: What's In My Makeup Bag?

What's in my make-up bag? Well, enough for any drag queen. I think I'll probably have to slim it down, but I'm not sure what I'd take out at this point. It may not be a shock to some of you, if you remember this post. YIKES. Check it out!

Sorry for the poor lighting, I don't have anywhere to video during the week with natural light.

Wow. Wow. Wow. That's a lot of products! I know right? Well, I don't use these every day, but keep them close because I do use them often. Plus, it all fits in my make-up bag.....

Here's a list of everything, I talked about in the video, the highlighted are linked to a review on the product. If you'd like a review of a product mentioned, let me know!

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 120
MAC Studio Fix in C4
Sephora Bronzer in Bora Bora
Maybelline Concealer in 10
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Brightener
ELF Blush in Blushing Rose (I left this out in error, it was lost behind my laptop he he he)
MAC Blush in Nuance and Pink Swoon
VS Brilliant Shimmer in Star
Maybelline Line Stiletto in Blackest Black and Brownish Black
Maybelline Great Lash in Blackest Black
Ulta Automatic Eye Liner in Black/Brown and Chocolate
Maybelline Great Lash in Clear
MAC Eyeshadows in Phloof, Soba, Woodwinked, Romp, All That Glitters, Print and Typographic
Maybelline Eyelash Curler (I need a new one, any suggestions?)

There's always a few items that float in and out of my makeup bag, but these are my goodies.Since we're saving for a home, I have had to swap out some higher end products for some more friendly priced ones - Hello Maybelline and ELF. There's a few items that float around my makeup drawer that I use a lot too and are easily available.

How do you store your makeup? Do you have them individually in a drawer? Displayed on a countertop? Or do you keep them in a bag like myself?

I like the bag, because then everything is all together and ready to run with me at any time. That way I'm not afraid of leaving something valuable at home.

What's in your makeup bag? Do we use any of the same products? What's your holy grail items?

Favorite of the Week- VS Blush

Everything According to Erin

Victoria Secret Luminous Mineral Blush Duo in Surrender (not pictured)

My favorite item (and recent purchase!) is my new blush in Surrender. I already own the blush in Pleasure (check out my review here) and wanted the blush in At Last. I went into the store to pick it up, but At Last isn't as pink in person as it is in store and instead I went for Surrender. It's a very light soft baby pink paired with a bright hot pink. LOVE!

I've been wearing it all week and it's not as easy to go overboard on color as it is with Pleasure. I'm very happy with this shade, it gives a lovely soft pink glow with a hint of shimmer, I'm so happy with this purchase and am glad I bought a second blush from the line. I really like their make-up and plan on buying a few more products.

Have you tried the Victoria Secret make-up line?

Product Review: VS Luminous Mineral Blush Duo

I bought this blush a while ago, in this Recent Purchase post. I've used it a ton and now I'm ready to review it!

Pros:
- Gorgeous colors, four available
- Shimmer is built in and noticeable
- The duo colors naturally contour and highlight your cheeks
- Blends easy
- Lasts several hours

Cons:
- Easy to put on too much, you have to be very light handed and build to the color you want
- Will last through your work shift, but not into happy hour
- Very shimmery, when paired with shimmer eyeshadow it can be too much

The color is so pretty and I am happy with the purchase, but this hasn't made it to my holy grail of blushes. I love the colors available and had a hard time choosing, I also love the shimmer, one less step to do. I plan on buying the hot pink shade, At Last. It's a beautiful pink shade, but I passed initially because I already have MAC Pink Swoon.

Overall, I give this blush a B. I think I might have been happier with the At Last color, but I do love the shimmer and the overall glow the product gives you.

Have you tried Victoria Secret make-up? What do you use and how did you like it?

Recent Purchases + OOTD

On my blog date with Lyndsy and Danielle, I picked up two items from our shopping trip:

Here's a pic of me wearing it with layered chaing necklaces and black skinnies.

First up is this rich jade top. I love that it has sleeves and a high neck which makes it perfect for any occasion, but really sold me is the long back. It's great to pair with leggings and won't show any plumber crack, LOL.

This blush is gorgeous! It's very "luminous" and the Pleasure color is a pink and rosey bronze, perfect for any complexion.

For my new job (which I'm loving BTW) I picked up this blazer and I love it! I've worn it several times already and I really want to pick up the pink blush one as well now. It fits pretty well, I was in-between sizes and went for the one a tad smaller because it had a slimmer fit on my body. It's really great in person and no one can believe me that it's from Kohls.
I've been loving this scarf (on left) from PollenBrooklyn on Etsy, but at this time she is on vacation. Then I found a similar scarf at HandM this weekend for $7!! I couldn't pass it up and wanted to buy every color. I'm thinking about going back for it in black too. It's not quite as full, but it suits me just fine. I can't wait to rock it this fall.

What have you been shopping? Any goodies for fall?

My First Vlog! How To Do A Smoky Shadow

Wowowowow guys! I'm so so excited to post this, lots of you have asked for it before and I did do a picture tutorial here, but a vlog is so much better. I love watching other vlogs and seeing how they applied their makeup and brushes used.

So, I did do my face makeup first because like I say in the video, I didn't want to be a zombie and scare you folks! Usually, I always do my shadow first so if I have to clean up under my eyes from fall out it's easy to do.

Here's the look I'm re-creating, it's the one I wore for the Vegas Bachelorette Party in the UD Naked Palette Review

Sorry for some of the mumbling, at those parts I'm just saying how awkward/weird it is to do your makeup into your computer because your image is mirrored.

Ok, so here it is! Awesome opening pic right?

For the shadows I used UD Palete Sidecar, Smog, Hustle. You could also use MAC Romp and Woodwinked. MAC Typographic- for a darker look use MAC Carbon. Victoria Secret All-Over Powder in Star, this also looks great on your cheeks over your blush. Victoria Secret Beauty Rush in Gold Rush is also great.

Again, this look is great for any eye shape. You want the darkest color at your lash line and go lighter as you get into your crease. If you have small eye lids, I would probably just use 2-3 colors, the middle all over your lid, the medium on your lash line to mid-lid and the darkest on your lash line.

Here's a guide for the shadows and the placement as well.

So what do you think? Are you going to try it? Any suggestions for my next vlog or tips in making a better one?

Weekend Recap, OOTD and Recent Purchases

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Easter is my favorite holiday an I love spending it with family and chowing down all day. Friday I had my hair and make-up trial and it went FABULOUSLY! Thank you everyone for your input! I posted a pic on my Twitter (@KristenLLP) if you want to check it out. We did a little bit of everything, natural face, glowy skin, and glam eyes with mega lashes and a bronze smoky eye. We also did my hair like Hilary Duff's which was the #1 choice for most comments. I'm so happy with the outcome, I can't wait to rock the look on my big day.

Saturday I made some cupcakes for the party while watching Sons of Anarchy. Do you watch this show? I'm obsessed. The main character Jackson is played by Charlie Hunnam and he is delicious. One of my favorite movies is Green Street Hooligans and he is such a hunk.

Elijah Wood is also in that movie, and I love him for it, which is why I put him in my HMP. Just an FYI for you ladies who were wondering about him this past HMP. I really want to be his friend IRL and go for drinks. Elijah, if you're out there, hit me up! And for Charlie, I have 12 days until the wedding, you can hit me up too!! ....but for a different reason than drinks. :D

Here's how my cupcakes turned out. Move over Martha Stewart!

Here's what I wore for Easter. This pic is taken with my cell phone at 11pm so that's why I don't look as fresh. My sister tried helping me, but when I look at the pics enlarged, they're all kind of blurry.

F21 Top (it's a soft pinky-coral)
JBrand Skinnies
F21 Feather Earrings
Now for my Recent Purchases:

Victoria Secret Shimmer in Gold
(my stylist used this to give me a "bridal glow" at my trial and I love it!)
Victoria Secret Bronzer
(It's a great color, very shimmery. I think it will go great used to highlight with a non-shimmer bronzer)
e.l.f. Complexion Brush
(I've used their brushes with the white handle and hate them, but I hear so many good things about these brushes (with the black handle). So far I really like it. The bristles are soft and full and they pick up a ton of product so I had to get used to that difference. So far so good though)
e.l.f. Blush in Candid Coral
(Some of you ladies raved about this color in comment on this blush post, they were out of other colors suggested, but I picked this up and...see below)
(so on trend- see this post about feather hair extensions and only $1.50. Love them!)

Candid Coral is almost an EXACT dupe for MAC Sunbasque. IRL they're similar in color, but as you can tell Sunbasque is more pigmented. I've worn Candid Coral today and yesterday and love it. It's the perfect peach-coral shade. Perfect for the coral trend this year! Thanks ladies for the recommendation!!

How was your weekend? What did you do to celebrate?
Do you have any of these products or would like a review of them?

Recent Purchases

I've been trying REALLY hard not to buy a lot, but I've needed to update some pieces in my wardrobe and get some items I know I'll get a lot of use out of this year.

Women's Faux-Leather T-Strap Sandals in Turquoise $19.50

I did a post last week about this sandal in Leopard (check it out here), but my leopard sandals are in great condition (going on 3 years woop woop!) and I thought this color would be a perfect pop of color. It was really difficult deciding between the Yellow or Turquoise, but I wear a turquoise necklace all the time so I thought it would be a great addition to my closet. I own a few pair of Old Navy sandals, and they're really comfortable, true to size, and last for more than a few seasons.

Maya Twist Bandeau in Classic Leopard
I bought the above top only and thought it would be great to mix and match with pieces I already own. How cute will it look with solid black, pink, yellow and blue bottoms? That's like four swimsuits with just one additional piece. However, this top did not give me enough support for my ta-tas and I'm going to return it. I think it would be best for women with a smaller chest.

Heart Bikini in White

This new swimsuit I got with my bach party and honeymoon in mind. I love the heart ring accents and think it's so cute and kind of romantic. I was a little bit worried on how the top will fit, I don't want it squishing down my boobs like some bandeau-style tops can so I figure I'll keep the bottoms regardless and wear it with a solid white top. I don't mean that all bandeau styles squish your goodies, I have a few pair that are great, but some of the ones I own and have tried on don't do much in the support region. Fortunately, this top provides enough coverage and support and I'm keeping it!

I can't wait to try them on after a spray-tan when I look 10lbs skinnier. Usually I buy swimsuits pretty early in the season, and my bach party is next month so I wanted time to order them in case I need to return or exchange anything. My best advice if you're ordering suits online is to buy them in two sizes so you only need to return and not wait for an exchange. I ordered both tops in a M and then the white bottoms in both a S and a M because I'm usually on the border between the sizes in Victoria Secret swimwear.

Ali and Kris Ruffled dress from Nordstrom
Check out my OOTD here with it.

I couldn't find this dress anywhere online, but it's finally availabable online at Nordstrom, but only in Fiery Purple and Black. Mine is a bright kelly green color, the lighting in this pic is pretty poor. I almost went with the lavender color though, it's so pretty. I bought a Large because the straps aren't adjustable and was cutting a little bit into my arms. There wasn't much difference in width luckily and it was even a tad bit longer which  loved.

HIP Draped Tops from Nordstrom
Check out the blue one in this OOTD

Again, I still can't find them online, but I love these tees! They're really comfortable and hang just right. They'll also be perfect tucked into a skirt. I bought both in a Small.

Sephora Blush Me! Trio in Abricot 11

This blush is really sheer and gives just a touch of color. The three colors add depth and highlight together and it looks great over my MAC Pink Swoon blush (see review here) and alone.  It's going to look awesome in the summer when I'm all tan and don't need much makeup. I did have to use a blush brush with shorter strands (see similar one here) to get a better application.

Baked Moonshadow Trio in Sunbaked 02

I know I have enough shadows to last me the rest of my life (Don't believe me? See this post), but after seeing JLo's glittery eyes on American Idol I had to find something similar. The middle shade in Sunbaked is the most gorgeous glittery shade and the other two colors are perfect compliments. I'll have to do a review soon to let you ladies see the gorgeousness.

Twist of Line Slate Blue Skirt from Lulus

I got this skirt in a M from Lulus  and LOVE it! It's so cute and I've thought of so many ways to wear it already. It's a really soft cotton, but the back is only one layer of fabric and a bit sheer so I'll HAVE to wear a slip with it. I usually wear a slip with most skirts/dresses, but this one is a must. The skirt is pretty stretchy so you can wear longer/shorter or higher up on your waist or your hips which I love because I have a short waist and skirts aren't always flattering on me depending on where they fit my waist.

OPI Lites to Darks Minis

The left two pinks are so cute and are what really sold me on the set. I can't wait to try them asap and I know Lincoln Park After Dark is a huge hit as well in the blog world.

The only thing I wanted to buy and didn't was the Sephora by OPI Glee (from this post) because I wasn't as impressed in person as I was online. There were two colors from the set that I really wanted, but Sephora didn't have them solo. Maybe next time!

What have you ladies been buying or eyeing? Do you have any of the above items? How did they work for you?
