Say What? SATC Prequel: Summer in the City

Everyone loves SATC. Everyone I know, I mean how could you not? It was incredible. Candice Bushnell's young adult novel Summer and the City was just released and Candace wants it to be made into a movie! How exciting! I haven't read the book, but I do have it on reserve at the library. Head over to MTV Style to check out the top picks for the cast.

Has anyone read the prequel books? They're still on my to-do read list. How are they? Would you recommend them?

Who would you like to see cast?

I read them both and really liked them. It was cool to see how they all became friends.

How exciting!!! I think they should cast Cameron Diaz or Christina Applegate. Actually both would be great too.

AH! I read the list for who they think would be great for each character, and I must say they are pretty dead on! Like c'mon, Blake as Carrie. That's perfection right there. Hope this goes through!!

PS. Carrie Diaries was slow, but the ending is a great cliff hanger for Summer and the City :)

i have never read these but seriously anything they can come out with to redeem the crappy SATC2 movie is welcomed in my book.

I own the Carrie Diaries, but haven't read it yet. I've heard a mix about these books though.
