Product Review: ELF Cosmetics

Have you heard of Elf cosmetics before? Their products are "affordable and high quality design to enhance your natural radiance". Almost all the products are under $10, with their make-up around $1-$3!! My friend S referred me to them a few years ago and I tried their nail polish, brushes, and pencils. I really loved the nail polish, but the brushes were poor quality and only use them as my back ups when I've washed my usual brushes and I'm waiting for them to dry.
Well, this week I was casually strolling my local Target when I came across a whole section of ELF (before, they were online only)! So I dove right in and bought the following:

Quad Bronzer in Golden Bronzer ($3): So far I really like the color and it doesn't give you that "orange" look like lots of other bronzers. Plus it's small so it fits easily in my makeup bag. It blends really well and has a hint of shimmer.

Minty Lipgloss in Los Angeles (left) and Miami (right) ($3): First, I love the smell. I hate when glosses have a bad smell, I just won't use them-it grosses me out. The minty smell is similar to the Victoria Secret Mint Lip Gloss. I love the color of these, they're pretty sheer, the glitter is very fine (similar to MAC Dazzleglass), and the consistency is ok- not too thick or thin but stays for a decent length of time. My only con would be that there's not a lot of gloss on the applicator so you have to keep dipping the wand back in to get a high shine.

From my previous order when I first tried the brand I bought the following:

Nail Polish in Light Pink (left) and Bubble Gum Pink (right) ($1): I must say that these two shades have been my long time, go to pinks. The Bubble Gum Pink is the perfect bright but subtle pink and the Light Pink is the perfect neutral pink. I use the Light Pink for all the weddings I attend because it's gorgeous on and goes well with anything.

Have you tried ELF before? What did you think? Also, I went to the Target by my work yesterday and didn't see any ELF there, so you may have to check out a couple before finding them everywhere.

I have never tried e.l.f but then again I just found out about a week ago. I want to try some eyeshadows and eyeliners soon. I also LOVE their prices. Plus, on their website, I LOVE how "Get the look" section. Pure genius!
