10 Spring Trends

In one of my fave magazines, People StyleWatch, they have the top must-haves for the season and I wanted to share them with everyone and how I'd rock the looks.

1. Color-Block
These dresses make it easy to wear two trends at one, color-blocking and mint and color-blocking and neon. Easy peasy. Both of these dresses make it so easy to wear this trend, it's a no brainer.

2. Day Clutches
Clutches really force you to only carry the necessities and it's so much easier to carry one. At least for my shoulders. I love clutches in bright colors and bold patterns. I love pairing them with a white top, dark skinnies, and heels.

3. Ankle Straps
I'm not sure why, but I think ankle straps can be so sexy on shoes. Just be sure to get a pair that's width is flattering to your legs.

4. Mint Green
This is such a pretty color and seriously flattering on everyone. I'm obsessed.

Ok, this one is in the magazine, but I skipped it. Let's be honest, when it's hot outside, the last thing I want to be wearing is leather. I remember that episodes of Friends with Ross, do you?? I'll just stick to leather belts, sandals, and handbags for this summer.
5. Leather

Kendra Scott's jewelry immediately comes to mind. Her pieces are beautiful and are items that always get noticed. Gorgeous!
6. Blue and Green Jewelry

7. Florals
Let's be real, florals are in every spring. I personally love floral prints, they're so gorgeous and feminine. I also loving mixing florals with other prints like leopard and more florals.

8. Peplum
This trend seems difficult to rock, but is so flattering, how could you not give in?

9. Metallic Heels
Add some shine to your outfit with some metallic details. Metallics can be swapped for any basic nude or black shoe to add some pizzazz.

10. Neon
Don't be afraid of brights! Neon is so fun and can be so simple to wear. If you're scared, mix it into your wardrobe with some accessories.

How will you be wearing the trends this spring? What's your favorite look? Which do you think will be the easiest or hardest to wear?

Birthday Wishlist

People StyleWatch Subscription

My birthday is less than a month away and I have got my eyes on some goodies. Here's some items, old and new, that I've had my eye on for a while. I wasn't going to share my list on the blog, but I've always enjoyed seeing what others have their eyes on, I've found some awesome new stores, Etsy shops, and gorgeous pieces from other blogggers sharing so I wanted to do the same.

OOTD

Gap Skinnies
F21 Blouse and Necklace

I bought both the shirt and the necklace just recently there, but was unable to find them on their website. I seriously love this chain, it's so fun. It's bright and unexpected. I can't wait to wear it more. I'm also seriously digging all the sheer trends lately.

Favorite of the Week- Hunger Games

Everything According to Erin

This weekend I finally saw The Hunger Games and I loved it. I've been a fan of the books for a while and was really happy with the movie. Some parts were cheesy and maybe not gritty enough to fully represent the novels, but it had a PG-13 rating, so I was expecting that. I felt the movie stayed mostly true to the book and I can't wait for the rest of the novels to go to the big screen.

Have you seen the movie or read the books? What are your thoughts?
