Engagement Pictures with Nick Radford

Here it is! I've been dying to share these pictures with you! This teaser post was so long ago, I hope you didn't forget! I just love the way they turned out. Our photographer is Nick Radford (check out more of his work here) and he's so talented and has such great style. I can't wait for our wedding and the pictures he'll take. Everytime I see a picture frame now I'm constantly thinking "That would be so perfect for an engagment/wedding picture". The pictures were taken in Anaheim and I love the whole feel of the pictures and how much nature was included in them. For the shoot, I wore items from this Recent Purchase post.

Wedding Post: Conversation Starters

Here's some fun ideas I've seen on the web of ways to entertain your guests. You can place them at the guests dinner table, on a table where the guests may be waiting in a line (like for a photobooth or restroom) for something to do while they wait, near the sign-in desk or anywhere you desire since it's YOUR wedding.

These are some of my favorites and I've kept them all under a big wedding file, so I'm unable to give credit to the photographer or the wedding couple- but if this is yours great job (contact me and I'll link back to you)! I'm hoping to incorporate something like this into my wedding, but it's tucked under the task of "Things to put together when everything is done and you're twiddling your thumbs".

Crossword puzzle filled with fun questions about the couple

Post cards from your guests that will be mailed to you while on your honeymoon

Advice from your guests on different topics for each table

Adlibs for your guests to fill out

Pictures and advice from each guest

Your guests' choice of a memory, well wish or advice

Smart advice (or trouble!) could come from this one

I Spy Game

Swatches of fabric for each guest to sign with a special note that will be later sewn together into a blanket

My Big Sis in the sorority had a fun sheet for each guest to fill out with fun questions about the couple and the wedding with a place for each guest to draw them! It was a big hit!

What do you ladies like? Which do you think would get the best results? What have you seen at weddings or what did you do at your own?

Beauty Inspiration: Carrie Underwood

Curly golden locks, long lush eyelashes and glossy lips- my beauty dream come true! I'm seriously in love with Carrie Underwood's beauty and hair! I've kept a couple of these images saved for possible wedding day looks too.

Carrie always has the right amount of a smoky eye and her skin always looks as though it's glowing. Her eye look is always warm and never overdone. I think she definitely has some of the best faux lashes in town! They're never dramatically fake or spidery long, just full and soft.

Let's not forget that she always has plenty of volume in her hair, which I just love. Her hair always looks so touchably soft. Her side pontytail always reminds me of how romantic the look can be and not childlike in any sense. It's the perfect solution to wanting an updo, but still having hair to frame your face.

What do you think of Carrie's beauty routine? Do you love her looks? What about her hair? I bought MAC Pink Swoon blush after hearing that she wore it on her wedding day and love it! I've worn it nearly everyday since I've bought it. See my review here. I think Carrie is going to be my new muse for the year, I am seriously just in love with her entire look. It's so feminine, polished, and warm. What do you think?
