Product Review: Scientific Skincare + Giveaway!

For the past month I've been using some new skin products I just need to share with you guys! Scientific Skin sent me a couple of products to use and I've fallen in love.

I've had the opportunity to test out three of their products, their pH Balancing Cleanser, White Bamboo Exfoliator, and their Daily Hydrating Cream and want to share my thoughts and experiences about them.

First I tried their pH Balancing Cleanser, which cleanses the skin without drying your skin. I have sensitive skin that gets dried out really easily and sometimes have a problem finding the right products that clean my skin thoroughly without causing my face to dry up like a raisin. Everyday I take off my make-up then use this to follow up to remove any residue and wash my face. The cleanser really cleaned my skin and I didn't have any drying, it was awesome. Also, on a side note, the wash is completely clear which I thought was pretty neat.

Then once a week I used their White Bamboo Exfoliator to deep clean my skin. This is the coolest product ever! Right when you put it on your face, it heats up! It's nice and warm and the scrub is very scrubby, it has more granules than other exfoliators I've used. The exfoliator is helps purify skin, minimize pores and balance excess oils. My skin feels instantly smooth and soft after this scrub, it even looks better visually. My skin is brighter and has a sort of glow each time I use it. This was my favorite product, even my husband likes using it!

Every morning I've been using their Daily Hydrating Cream, which is for all skin types and contains Retinol to help improve your skin. The lotion is a little thicker than what I was using before, but absorbs into the skin really quickly. I really felt that my skin soaked up this product and was more supple and hydrated than before. Like I said earlier, my skin is prone to dryness so it's really important for me to find products that really nourish my skin and provide extra protection into the winter months.

My favorite part of the line is that it's made only from natural preservatives, fresh ingredients, and 100% pure essential oils. Have you ever thought about the chemicals your products may contain? How they get certain colors or scents? It kind of freaks me out. I really loved that these products had little smell to them and no crazy colors. I also really liked the packaging, clean, precise, and pretty.

The creator of the line is a nationally renowned dermatologist, Dr. Kenneth Beer is the Founder of the Cosmetic Bootcamp, the training program for cosmetic dermatology and surgical training for physicians. He's one of the few doctors to be credentialed as both a cosmetic and surgical dermatologists. He's also been featured in Elle, Self, Time, Vogue, Allure, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, NY Times, and The Wall Street Journal.

I've fallen in love with these products and Scientific Skin wants you too as well! Their sweet enough to give one reader some goodies. PLUS, the giveaway is open internationally! Woohoo! Isn't that fantastic? Want to know what you can get? Huh? Do you?

ONE- Entire skincare system. pH Balancing Cleanser, pH Balancing Toner, White Bamboo Exfoliator & Daily Hydrating Cream plus their choice of ONE of our three serums: Lifting Serum, Brightening Serum or Intensive Repair Serum.

My Wishlist: Want, Need, Read, and Wear

Once I saw Jenn of Perfectly Imperfect post her wishlist, I knew I had to jump on the bandwagon. I've been waiting for Christmas all year long! Like I've said in some previous post, I love the holidays, but usually don't get all willy nilly for them until they're closer. Not this year. I've been waiting for Christmas since August. I've been listening to Christmas music all year long (never deleted my Christmas music playlist from my Ipod), mentally keeping a want list of my own and writing down what others have said they wanted during the year, and lighting my pine tree candle. Well, it's almost here! It's so close, I can taste the egg nog!

So here we go, I'm also copying Jenn's list with four items in each category. I mean, why not give Santa some options right?

My new IPhone5 and it's adorable case!
My case is from Etsy shop Tin Tree Gifts and I'm so happy with it. There are so many options, it took me forever to pick what I wanted and the shop owner is so sweet and answered all of my questions so quickly. After you order, you also get a proof of how it will look to make sure you're satisfied which I really appreciated.

Last year I went nuts on the day after Christmas and picked up so many decorations, but I couldn't help myself when I saw these at Target. I wanted to make a garland similar to this one, and figured I couldn't make it for less than the price of $10.

PEOPLE Magazine’s Annual Sexiest Man Alive issue + Giveaway!

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Sexy men are no stranger to Love, Lipstick, and Pearls. I mean, they have their own parade every Friday here. Every year I look forward to the PEOPLE Magazine’s Annual Sexiest Man Alive issue, my sister and I both do, we try and predict who it will be and if we agree with The Chosen One.

PEOPLE magazine is my go-to issue for all the celebrity gossip, if PEOPLE doesn't report it, then I don't believe it. Anytime I hear a rumor, I check out their website for any truth, and if it's not there, it's bogus. I also love their celebrity style segments and how to get their looks. They always pick my favorite celebs and outfits and have the best pics of any party. I rely on them for all the latest news, baby bumps, and weddings.

PEOPLE Magazine’s Annual Sexiest Man Alive issue is coming out this Thursday, November 15th and I can't wait to pick it up!Who do you think is in the running? Who gets your vote? I'm really hoping for Ryan Gosling, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it's Daniel Craig.

Now, time for the giveaway! This giveaway is for a $20 gift card to Walgreens!
The giveaway starts today and goes through November 23.
Please leave a comment below with your email and answer to this question:
