I've been obsessed with smoothies the whole pregnancy and have been using the Yoplait Smoothie mixes and adding OJ, lemonade, kiwis, and bananas. It's so delicious! It says it's two servings, but I've been drinking it all to myself. I've found that it's about the same amount of smoothie as a regular Jamba juice cup or my plastic tumblers.

I'm so so so excited that my sorority big sis and my grand big sis and I are all pregnant together. It's been such fun news to share and our text messages are classic. I love that I have two women so close to me that I can connect to and lean on.

This past weekend was my SIL's bach party and this was our view from our beach house, gorgeous right?

One night we went bar hopping and one bar served my Shirley Temple in a pitcher, I loved it! The best part? It was non-alcoholic like a Shirley Temple is supposed to be! LOL

I have been obsessed with kiwis now that they're in season, I'm eating a few every day. I eat mine like an apple, I swear you can't taste the skin/fur at all! Plus, the skin of a fruit has the most vitamins!

The bump is on display for everyone to see. I feel like in the last week I got really big, at least in comparison to previous weeks.

Another Pinkberry stop this week, but I switched it up and got the coconut flavor this time. It was so delicious! I'm one of those people who try every flavor at an ice cream shop and still order just good old vanilla.

The sweetest surprise from Danielle of Sweet Nothings sent to me! Thank you again so much, I just love it and touch it every time I go into our nursery.

This past Saturday was date night with a few of our friends so I busted out my Old Navy cardi and maternity pants (more about them in tomorrow's bumpdate post).

We all went to the Ontario Reign hockey game for date night, then to The Lazy Dog cafe afterwards to eat. The game was so much fun and I've never seen so much fighting in a hockey game before. It was nuts! Also, I've been to several hockey games and each time I go to a game, regardless of who is playing they're always playing against the Utah Grizzlies! How funny huh? Go Utah!! (that's my home state for anyone who didn't already know)

This adorable owl mug is from a Christmas present this past year (it's from Pier 1 if you're interested) and I just love it! It's so big! Every morning I either have milk, oj, or chocolate milk with my breakfast. Sometimes tea depending on my mood.

It was pretty warm this past Monday so I busted out a sleeveless sheer top and my turquoise sandals.

Two of my BFF's Birthdays

Two of my best friends, bridesmaids and sorority sisters celebrated their birthdays together at Ocean Bar in Hermosa Beach. It was so much fun and so many people came out to celebrate with them. These two girls are amazing people and my life is truly enriched because of them both.

Here's some of the girls outside the bar

Here we are in deep conversation telling secrets, it's how we keep our hair big throughout the night. Har har.

Here I am with the birthday ladies, I love you both so much!

The whole night was a total blast and it was so much fun to see everyone together. This is the night I tried the red lipstick too. We stayed up until 3AM , all thirteen of us in B's studio apartment and then some of us went to brunch the next day. The bar is really cool too, it's connected to a restaurant and it has a big outdoor patio area and a dance floor. The best part of it is that everyone who works there's is extremely good looking so there's eye candy for everyone. If you're in the area, I'd definitely suggest checking the place out.

Sacramento to see the BFF

Earlier this month I headed up north to visit my high school BFF S. You may remember my trip last year from this post. We had such a great time and it was so fun visiting with her! Northern California is so gorgeous, I can see why she moved up north.

We went to the local brewfest again and had such a blast! We remembered to make preztel necklaces to have something to snack on while tasting all the different brews. It was such a huge hit and everyone asked where we bought them. We're thinking about looking into getting a permit and selling them at next year's event.
Yes, we realize we match. While getting ready for the day we talked about how we used to purposelly match in high school or on NYE in college and laughed at all the memories. We often match without pre-planning it too. So we get ready, spent the whole day together, and didn't realize we matched AGAIN until the end of the day when we were looking through the pictures!! What can I say, great minds think alike.

At the festival they had tons of booths, way more than last year. There were a lot more people too. I guess everyone reads my blog and saw how awesome it was LOL. I saw this tent at the entrance and knew I'd be there for lunch for some delicious goodness- BBQ'd Oysters! They were amazing! I'm going to have to make them myself (i.e. have my mom make them), The vendor told me they just bbq them right on the bbq (which I witnessed myself) and cover them in garlic and butter and let the customer put on any condiments they wish. They had Valentina, Tapatio, limes, garlic salt, teriyaki sauce, and bbq sauce available. I chose Valentina and limes. Mmmm so good! I'm going to be on the hunt for these babies again!

The next day we headed up to Monterey Bay to check out their fisherman's wharf and the aquarium.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium was awesome, but we both agreed that the Long Beach Aquarium is better.
You can't really tell in this picture, but the fish on the bottom are swimming one way and the fish toward the top swam opposite. It was really neat to watch.

My favorite exhibit were all of the jellyfish. They're so unique and neat to look at. I could spend a lot of time just checking them all out.
This last jellyfish picured reminded me of popcorn.

The seahorses were also super cool! The seahorse on the top left is teeny tiny, like smaller than your pinky. Did you know that female seahorses get pregnant, but the male seahorses carry them? Neat huh? The last seahorse is one of the pregnant ones, but he was swimming so fast I couldn't get a good pic of him.

This has to be the ugliest fish ever!

Here's a pic of the Sea Cucumber they had in the petting area. The petting area is not that cool...at least not to adults anyways. It just had a bunch of different Starfish so unless you love starfish, it's all right. The coolest thing was the Sea Cucumber. It was so weird!! It was really soft and you could barely tell that you were touching it. I want to pick it up (if I could muster the guts), but the attendant wouldn't allow it.

It was another successful trip and I can't wait to head back next year.S is also one of my bridesmaids and I'm so happy to share the big day and the events leading up to it with her.

Some of my best GFs and I went for a girls night out to Yard House for dinner then off to see The Lion King. I've heard nothing but rave reviews for the show and my sister has seen it three times so I was very excited for it to be in town. The production lived up to every one of my expectations! The costuming was incredible, visually the entire performance was phenomenal. If the show comes near you I would highly recommend seeing it and would even go as far as saying it's a must-see-before-you-die.

Have you seen the show yet? Do you enjoy plays and musicals? What do you suggest seeing?
