OOTD: Seeing Stripes

One of my favorite dresses this pregnancy has been this striped dress from Pink Blush! It is so comfortable and I've worn it several times- running errands, out to lunch with my BFF, family BBQ, etc. The fabric is so soft and it's so easy to wear!

I'm so happy to have found Pink Blush with my last pregnancy, they have the cutest pieces- both maternity and non-maternity. Whenever I need something for everyday or a special occasion, I know I can find what I need on their site. Nearly everything I own from them is perfect for each stage of my pregnancy and postpartum. I love finding quality items that I can wear for years!

20 Weeks Update + Pink Blush Giveaway!

Morning everyone! Sorry there's been so much radio silence on the blog and Instagram lately. This pregnancy has gotten the best of me! I don't know how mamas with lots of kids do it! There's a few women at my church who are expecting as well and some have 3+ kids already and I just look at them in awe. Sometimes, I want to just pick their brain about how they get it all done. Women are such rockstars!!

This last week I hit 20 weeks and I can't believe I'm already halfway through my last pregnancy! It's crazy how quickly each pregnancy goes by. We've been pretty busy and I have another announcement to make in a future post (which isn't really that big of a secret if we're friends on Facebook) that I look forward to sharing with you guys. Here's some pregnancy and life updates about what's been going on.

Product Review: Tried and True Image Skincare Favorites + Giveaway!

Several years ago, I tried my first Image Skincare product and after using it for a few weeks I became a lifelong customer. Finding the right skincare product can be trying and can follow a series of trial and error. It you have sensitive or problematic skin, it can even be emotional to try a product and not see any results or worse yet adverse results.

All my life, I’ve had pretty even skin that tends to dry out and can be sensitive at times. I never really had an issue using any product (as long as I bought the sensitive version of it), but never saw a change in my skin. Not a single product brought my skin to life, evened out the skin tone of my rosy cheeks, or worked with what I had naturally to make it better and stand out. It just did its job in the laziest way possible and I had no results one way or another. None of this is true for Image. After a few weeks, my skin brightened up, I could wear less makeup, and even with long nights nursing babies my skin never looked better.

OOTD: Pink Florals + My Q&A!

Congratulations, you've made it to Friday!! It's my favorite (work) day of the week! As always, I'm excited for the weekend- tonight I'm going to a craft fair with my girlfriend and tomorrow we have a Halloween dance class for Ellie, a family BBQ with some family who's in town, then Sunday we have church (I'm helping in nursery again!), and I want to make something yummy in the crock pot for dinner. What's your favorite dish? I'll probably do a loaded potato soup recipe my girlfriend shared with me.

I'm so excited about today's post too! I absolutely love this Pink Blush dress, it's the same silhouette as this dress, and I love it so much. It fits true to size, is fully lined, and so comfortable. Pink Blush has so many great pieces right now, I love their items and wore a few during my last pregnancy that I still wear now. Everything I have from them is good quality and has been really versatile to work for the different seasons of life. I know it's the end of October, but we're still enjoying (or should I say suffering?) through warm temps so my summer dresses are getting lots of use still. It's easy to "fall-ify" your clothes with hats, booties, layers, and tights. This get-up makes for a perfect weekend outfit, GNO, or date night.

OOTD: Distressed Tee + Pumpkin Patch

 Last week we took the girls to a pumpkin patch, and I can't wait to go again! There's some really great ones by our home and we've only been to one! Last year, this was my last month on maternity leave so I felt like we were always doing something fun. Our weekends are so packed, I'm hoping to maybe squeeze one more in before Halloween with the girls.

Our cookies turned out so good, we're baking them again this weekend! Can't beat a simple cookie mix, butter, and a single egg! It's so nice that these treats are so easy and quick to make. We had a great time baking and decorating them together and Ellie had so much fun delivering them to neighbors. The little boy above has been sick for a while and was ecstatic to have some treats! It was the sweetest moment, he couldn't believe they were his and it really brightened up his spirit.

The minute I know I'm having a precious baby girl, I start scouring for headbands and bows and I pop one of those pretty little ribbons on their head the minute we're in our hospital room. Product Review & Giveaway: Younique 3D Fiber Mascara

My beauty routine has been rocked. I've heard a lot about a new product by Younique, a 3D Fiber Lash Mascara, but didn't think too much about it. Then Jamie contacted me to try it out and do a fun giveaway with Younique and I took the plunge. Holy moly. When I went out to lunch the other day I was asked 3 times if my lashes were fake! 3 times!! I've been asked several times since about what mascara I'm using and if they're fake lashes. I felt like my lashes could be part of a butterfly effect.

Younique is an all-natural company that started in 2012 and the 3D Fiber Lash Mascara was their flagship product. It's a three step process that uses a gel and fiber combination. You start with a coat of your own mascara (not necessary, but a personal choice), apply a coat of the transplanting gel, apply the fibers, and then the gel again to seal it all together. One coat of this is all you need!

My first day using it I was kind of timid, but now I'm a total pro. My biggest tip is to apply the gel generously at the end to really seal in all of the fibers. When I did this, I didn't have any fall out. That's my biggest pet peeve with mascara. The mascara lasted all day long, is water resistant, and washes off easily with a bit of face wash. It retails for $29, but is seriously worth every single penny. I usually never spend more than $10 on mascara, but I have not tried a single mascara that gives this kind of boost.
