High-Low Hems Trending?

I first wrote about this trend last fall in this post when January Jones and Jessica Alba rocked the look. Now, after last night's Teen Choice Awards, it looks like the trend has caught on? I've also seen them at stores online too, it's only a matter of time before we start seeing them in the streets!

I've been shopping for some weddings and bach parties (post coming soon) and saw some hemlines like this and was definitely interested, but didn't buy the bullet since I've only seen it online so far. Have you seen this in stores yet?

Do you like the trend? Would you wear a dress/skirt with this cut?

  1. I'm not a fan of this trend. I don't know if it's my OCD about symmetry, but I just don't think it's flattering.

  3. I wouldn't go as far as saying I don't like it, but more like I wouldn't buy it for myself. I've seen it a couple times where it was OK, but nothing trend-worthy.

  6. I'm with Frances on this one, my OCD wouldn't let me buy a dress like this for myself. I can't buy tops with an uneven hemline hemline either :(.

Demi has been looking gorgeous though! Her makeup and hair have been flawless recently, I'm tempted to recreate some of her recent makeup looks.

  7. I've seen it in stores, and even tried it on. I don't like it all. It reminds me of a mullet. However, the celebs look pretty!

  8. They look to die for but I also can't get on board with this trend! I just want to cut them hemline even, I guess it's the perfectionist in me!

  9. They look cute on the starlets, but it's definitley not my style. I guess a little difference in length would be ok, but the huge difference is something I'd be nervous to try. Demi looks great tho! xo- Jet

  10. EW! The mullet dress, I hate it! Kourtney is the only person I think it looks semi ok on. DONT DO IT!! Just sayin.

  11. My wedding dress was technically a mullet dress - but somehow it doesn't transfer to sun/casual dresses. I think the height difference is more severe here. On the plus side, it shows off your shoes!
