Lately I've been obsessed with lavender. I think it started last summer and it stayed with me. I've never been a fan of purple (I don't even want to tell you the ridiculous reason why....my girlfriends still tease me about it), but this lavender scarf stuck with me. (From Target, a few years ago)

I can't wait to pick up the purples and pink from the Essie 2013 Spring Collection. The colors look similar to other colors Essie has (like Lilacism), but I still want to add them to my collection. 

One of the things I looked forward to in our new apartment is the fire place! The Mr. and I bought a log this past weekend and used it Sunday night while we watched the Grammys. It's so warm and cozy, with just a touch of romance :) 

I truly believe in the power of counting your blessings. No matter how dark a day is, there's always something to be grateful for. 

A childhood favorite of mine! I love splitting the small donuts in half and dunking them in milk. I could easily make a full meal of it! You know, like breakfast. 

The last week has been chilly willy over here in CA so warm tomato soup with Cheez-Its are the answer. Have you tried the four cheese Cheez-Its? I can go through a box on my own! I got a few people at work stuck on them too.
