What was your first?

After Monday's post and the Oscar's a few weeks ago, I got to thinking about what the first movie I saw at the theaters. I was 5  years old and I went with my mom, sister, and some family friends to see Disney's The Little Mermaid. To this day, it's still one of my favorites.

Ariel, Ursula, and Sebastian were so exciting. My sister and I sang the songs non-stop, pretended we were Ariel anytime we were in water, and it also started my life-long obsession with long mermaid hair.

What was your first movie? What do you remember about it?

  2. I remember my aunt taking my sister and I to see a Rainbow Brite movie. Based on IMDB's date, I would've been 4 when it was released. Can't believe I remember!
