So I don't know if I would worry about making the registry a COMPLETE record of everything you want/need. I like plates with a design, but that's just me. Good luck!Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07674241557269667819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998910866154708011.post-80143752470986874102010-08-17T19:23:53.959-07:002010-08-17T19:23:53.959-07:00oooooh i know what you mean!! it is exhausting!! w...oooooh i know what you mean!! it is exhausting!! we splurged on our everyday too, and am totally glad we did... i smile every day when we use it.

we also registered at rei and got a ton of camping gear we wanted... so i would say if there is a store that isn't a typical registry store, but that carries something hobby related that you would both enjoy, definitely register there. people like those fun gifts and you'll love them too!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998910866154708011.post-71973495599893621162010-08-17T10:00:54.718-07:002010-08-17T10:00:54.718-07:00Lindsey- How fun! I did Bed Bath and Beyond instead of Target, but now I'm second guessing myself.

Ashley- Thanks for your help! I really want to do Target, but have heard such negative things about the policies after the wedding.

Hazel- I wish the Fiance and I had some of our own things so we could register for a HOneymoon! That's such a great idea and will be a trip you'll never forget!

Frances- Thanks goodness! The fiance and I were looking at trash cans and thought it would be best to get one with a lid (that can lock) that's big and pretty heavy duty. Glad we chose correctly!!

Amanda- Yes! I had Corningware in mind, but haven't registered for it yet! Thank goodness you reminded me, i'll have to go online and add it!! I love the Pyrex brand and registered for a set of their items. Thanks for the tips!

Thank you everyone for your comments, they really are wonderful to have such great tips from people who are in the know!!Kristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00387917833470372070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998910866154708011.post-73156910018625885612010-08-17T07:12:41.640-07:002010-08-17T07:12:41.640-07:00I don't cook very often, but when I do, or we ...I don't cook very often, but when I do, or we entertain, I'm so glad to have a variety of Corningware casserole dishes. They're very good quality and are great for baking or cooking in the oven. Also I'd recommend a Pyrex 2 cup measuring cup. I think it's very handy.AmandaGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02555878045223218789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998910866154708011.post-86584546961489142622010-08-17T05:50:43.614-07:002010-08-17T05:50:43.614-07:00I've never been married, and I've never do...I've never been married, and I've never done a registry, but I have been living on my own for 6 years now. I'd say to not forget about a good trash can. Get one that is large enough so that you don't waste trash bags and if possible, one with a lid. Also, don't forget things like a spice rack and cooking utensils (they often have packs that bring almost everything you'll need).Frances @ It's Sew My Stylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03768406939120701690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998910866154708011.post-41111037713177801612010-08-17T02:36:26.939-07:002010-08-17T02:36:26.939-07:00My fiance and I have been living together for seve...My fiance and I have been living together for seven years, so have decided to register for our honeymoon instead! We did Target because it is universal and I am from a small town that doesn't have stores like Pottery Barn(we also registered there). We went ahead and registered for 12 place settings because everyone kept telling me that even though we only have a table that seats 4 right now we will probably (hopefully) move up in the world. I also let hubs pick some stuff like tools and entertainment type things so he would be included in the whole process. Most importantly have fun!!! I registered for a Nintendo DS, icecream maker and hubs really wanted a slushy maker and we ended up getting all three:) And yes, we have used all those things, ha! Hope this helps a little.

http://www.afashionfixation.blogspot.comAshley Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04088472827916702085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998910866154708011.post-85512154493580743622010-08-16T14:00:24.750-07:002010-08-16T14:00:24.750-07:00We just kinda did the whole, what do we use EVERYD...We just kinda did the whole, what do we use EVERYDAY and then register for it all. LOL. However, we did register at Target but luckily that is just our backup registry....our main one is crate and barrel. One thing that i made sure i did was check pricing at every store..bc you can buy a coffee maker at one place and get it cheaper at another place...so I would take note of the prices and then just go back and remove or add accordingly. it is fun but very tiring! wait until you have to go buy the big items like washer machines and stuff. that one you need drink after. lolAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00525420129305989243noreply@blogger.com
