Product Review + Giveaway!: Dove VisibleCare Crème Body Washes

I'm so happy to be working with Dove again! I've worked with them in the past here, here, and here. My family is huge Dove fans and after trying their new conditioner and deordorant in past reviews I have used them ever since. Even my hair dresser noticed my hair is healthier after using their hair products.

So I jumped at the chance to work with them again for their new Dove VisibleCare Creme Body Washes.Their new formula contains "their highest concentration of NutriumMoisture yet—contains skin-natural building blocks to help improve your skin’s look over time, giving you visible results in just 1 week when used daily."

The Dove VisibleCare Crème Body Washes are available in two formulas: Renewing, which nourishes and replenishes, and Softening, which softens skin and dry spots. I tried out their Softening formula, my skin is getting kind of dry with this crazy hot/cold weather and I needed all of the conditioning my skin could get.

Here's what I liked/noticed about the product:

- It's very thick and creamy
Usually, with body washes, when it says "cream" I've found that they're usually just white and not very thick. This bodywash is really thick and soft. It's not runny or oily either and lathers up really well in both a loofah and a regular hand towel (I tested them both).

- The scent is soft and clean
I usually like washes that are all full of perfume and fruity scents, but this wash smells clean. The aroma isn't overwhelming and helped make me feel so fresh and so clean-clean.

- My dry skin has improved
With the weather going back and forth from hot to cold, my skin freaks out and gets dry and itchy. I use lotion everyday to help with the matter but when the weather is on the fritz, so is my skin. I was hoping that by changing my soaps to something with more moisturize it would help with the dryness and looked forward to trying this out. My biggest problem areas are my arms by my elbows and the skin surrounding my knees. I have a mild case of eczema and have seen doctors about it in the past, but because it's so mild they just recommend and OTC cream. I've been using the soap for over a week now and have noticed that these areas are a lot less itchy. I'm not saying it cured my eczema, but it did help to moisturize the skin which caused my itchiness to lessen.

To be honest, although I love my Dove conditioner and deordorant, I really wasn't expecting this soap to be anything special. Our house uses their bar soap and my sensitive skin loves it, but I wasn't sure that their bodywash would provide me with anything more than what the bar soap did. I was pleasantly surprised by the moisture and creaminess of the wash and plan to continue using it in the future.

Now, to the fun part- an extra bottle is also up for grabs for anyone! Woohoo! Now you can try it to!
